Hello to whom it may concern, I have been a long-standing customer of your establishment for many years and today just rubbed me the completely wrong way. I ordered a sandwich with ample time to enjoy during my lunch break and expected it to arrive in 15 minutes as instructed by the representative on the phone that took my order. Well apparently that was not the case and they were backlogged with orders, which was not communicated to me. 30 minutes go bye and I phone in and speak to someone named Alex and he assures me the sandwich is on its way and just left a minute ago and will give me a credit for the inconvenience. Okay, another 20 minutes go bye and I call in again 3rd time now and speak to another person named Alex different voice, but same name and this Alex is the acting manager and I complain again rightfully so. Again I’m assured that the driver will be here soon great! At this point I’m hangry, my lunch is over and I’m just frustrated. The driver shows up finally another 5 minutes after I get off the phone with “Alex” and I ask the driver to hand me the sandwich to assure it had been made correctly because there have been multiple occasions were that isn’t the case. Well the driver refuses to hand it to me and I explain what I’m trying to accomplish and the driver still doesn’t budge and persists to harass me about the money owed lol. Really!! After everything. Okay so I explain the money is sitting on my kitchen table and the door is wide open and he can see it and I again explain I just want to make sure the sandwich is made correctly please nope driver will not hand me my food at this I tell the driver to leave and I’ll call his manager. I phone “Alex” again 4th time now and explain what just happened and all I get from “Alex” is ohh there was a balance owed!?? I know that “Alex” I was just making sure my food was made correctly after everything today! He responded oh I’m sorry there must have been a miscommunication? Wow!!! Just wow!! I can’t tell how disappointed, frustrated and saddened by this type of customer service I will really have to think long and hard before I order from “Jimmy...
Read moreJimmy John's...I used to LOVE them but over the last few times of ordering from them, my love diminished and after today's situation, I will never order from them again.
I've lived at this address for nearly three years and whenever I called to order, I'd give my number and they'd have my name and address. Not tonight. I called and gave my number and he needed my name and address which I had to give three times.
I place my order and hang up and barely two minutes later, I get a call from Jimmy Johns with the wrong address telling me they do not deliver there. I correct the address and he says we do not deliver there, it's out of our range. Funny how countless times over the last few years, I have never been told they don't deliver there. It's not even a mile away from my house. Half a mile at that.
I say never mind, I no longer want the order.
What happened to you JJs? Before I could order my sandwich to how I want with half tomato and half onion and then just this last few months they lie and say they never allowed that when they had dozens of times before.
That was the first bad taste. Now this. I'll just go to Subway who is right next door and will allow me to put onion on one side and tomato on the other without another word.
They cannot change the bad taste left in my mouth. I'm finished with Jimmy Johns. They just lost a loyal customer in me...
Read moreWhy is Emily a manager????? I stopped in to grab a sub on my lunch break today. There was 1 cashier, along with 1 sandwich maker. My order was made quite fast. However, when it was placed on the counter and i asked for a bag, the female employee said "there you go" while pointing at the bags, and walked away. I said "you can't bag it?" and she replied "well, I am the only person working back here". I asked for a manager and she said that she is the manager and that her name is Emily. I've worked food service in some of the busiest places and let me tell you, being "the only one" is not an excuse for slacking off and providing subpar service. Another thing I learned from experience, if everyone called off on your shift and you're "the only one"- there's probably a reason for that too (and based on my 2min interaction with you- I wouldn't want to work with...
