They don't have any specials that other McDonald's have such as the any size dollar fountain drink. Their prices aren't too bad considering they are on the edge of the Strip, however there IS a noticeable markup.
It has ambiance since it appears to be one of the Original McDonald's, with an cool 1960's red sports car in front and Ronald looking anything but like Ronald.
I have gone here for several years now, since I frequent the area and have noticed the turnover of the employees. The current batch though is the worst I have seen. They are rude to certain customer types and fall all over themselves for the higher class tourists apparently hoping for a tip. They have new kiosks that are touch screen and not that easy to navigate if you don't know exactly what you want, I don't like them but am sure they save a lot of time and money, let alone space that people would normally be standing in line. It is a popular McDonald's and usually has many customers.
I went in at around 4am, before the morning crowd and just wanted a couple of Sausage McMuffins with Egg. I saw nobody was there so walked past the kiosks and inquired if they had the same price of 2 for $4 as other McDonald's. When I finally got an answer of yes, and corrected that they had Sausage McMuffns and oddly omitted the egg part. Shrugging, I ordered two and was rudely told that was what the kiosks are for. I argued that no one was there but she was adamant. In fact several of the other employees stopped what they were doing and glared at me. I thought I was in an old remake of the Stepford Wives the way they stared and glared. I went to the kiosk and couldn't find what I wanted and nobody bothered to help. I finally found 1 Sausage McMuffin with egg for 3 dollars and some odd cents. I ordered the two and the4 price was almost $7. Not until I confirmed the order did it take the extra money off and came to about $4.25. I went to the counter and everyone suddenly seemed to not see me until I asked for some help. I was irate by now as customer after customer came in who had ordered from the phone app were helped ahead of me. I went to the bathroom and the only toilet didn't even have a seat. It was filthy and had blood sprayed on the walls, apparently from some junkie who offed themselves due to the poor service. After almost half an hour she brought the to go bag over to where I was sitting and roughly handed it to me. I smiled and told her to have a wonderful morning and left. Having a deep dreaded feeling, but no proof as the food was freshly made and hot, the sandwich might have been spat upon, I gave it to my wife when I got home. Personally, I went to the Subway across the parking lot and had breakfast there..
My advice would be to order from the app, wear touristy clothing and use the kiosk but not the bathroom if you ever get to that...
Read morei dont leave customer reviews for fast food places but this location flops
i waited in line 15 mins w/o mask but when i got to the register, they couldnt take my order because i had no mask on. i learned my lesson after this time, but watched it happen to several other people after that time as well. they should warn people they cant be served without a mask (despite sign on the door) as they come in, instead of making them wait and hold up the line, just to say no.
several times, they stop taking inside-dining orders earlier than they should (which i think is 10/11PM) ive been refused as early as 9:30 P.M. ; which is early for a 24-hour location thats. you’re given some excuse of why they cant serve you or the doors are just completely closed.
other times, their not taking debit card, then their not taking cash. whichever one you usually offer to pay with first it seems.
one of my ubereats orders from this location was cancelled by the restaurant after not being picked up after 20 mins, which for the day/time the order was placed, like 3 AM on a weekday, wasn’t unusually long.
the line is always super long here, expect 10-15+ minutes here, at any time of day. i know its a busy location; but i see alot of workers who standby to watching their coworkers work instead of helping out.
finally; by the time you do get your food here, if you managed to place an order by now, the food is always cold and tastes old. i always have to reheat it when i get home, and mcdonalds never tastes right after being microwaved. times ive ate inside, its still not hot. lukewarm at most. tastes like it was made 10 hours ago and just now getting throw into your bag.
not sure why the lines are so long/slow but it’s definitely not because your order is being cooked fresh 😹
i have to add condiments of my own because they cant be bothered to do so apparently
they could...
Read moreI had placed an online order from their parking lot for a coke, apple pie and free lg . Fries w purchase. I get to the drive thru speaker and I’m told that they are not accepting any online orders or fulfilling any online orders that were previously made or accepting any type of credit card or debit card for the time being because their systems were down but if you had cash that they would accept a new order well unfortunately for me I’d already placed the order three minutes prior and put it on my debit card after many many minutes of waiting for us satisfactory resolution on the manager walked out to the drive-through promised me that my refund would be back on my card in 20 minutes well now it is three hours later. I’m starving still and no refund back to my card. Unfortunate for me. Unfortunately my thought is just you know. How much does it really cost that to produce a Coke apple large fry nothing there’s no meat on it and there’s no cheese so probably cost them $.10 you would think just for hospitality reasons and the right thing to do that. They were just refilled my order but going on four hours now I’m still hungry and without my money for my food, I would not recommend this establishment to no one do not stop here do not eat here because as the app says if you read the small print if you want your money back regardless if it’s their fault or not, you could take one to seven days well hell seven days I’ll probably be dead from starvation thanks McDonald’s. I’ll spread the word, go...
