I cannot tell any of you enough to make this a part of your vacation, trip meetings, etc. there’s always an experienced person playing the piano. It’s not loud or obtrusive. It is lush. It is romantic. It’s relaxing. It’s calming. It’s comfortable. They have the best cocktails you’ll ever have in your life. I could definitely recommend the chocolate martini. For those who do not drink they have wonderful ice tea, as well as pomegranate juice, ginger mango you can have a non-alcoholic beverage that is quite satisfying to any pallet. It is siblings weekend and we purchased some cocktails and crudités everything was fresh. They served it cold on ice. It was very refreshing with a green goddess dressing that was out of this world, we always order the shrimp cocktail. They’re wonderful shrimp scampi very meaty very filling. The table always comes with a little bit of tray of popcorn, potato chips, and candied, cashews, and peanuts. I would order whatever your table has a delight for always good to have something to eat while you’re cocktailing! it’s right towards the entrance of the Bellagio. It’s quite calming. There’s people coming in and out, so it’s just a good people watching place, but I find it to be very relaxing service is phenomenal definitely a staple for me...
Read moreWe arrived around 9:45 pm Saturday may 28 to the hostess stand Where 2 unpleasant not smiling girls welcomed us with a sense of being bothered that we where there. We added our names and phone number on the list and noted that a few tables where empty and ready to be seated with a reserved sign on. but we were told to wait for a text message when a table will open up. 20 minute later we went back to check if they had any open tables and we were told not yet, I still noticed the 2 tables with the reserved sign where still empty and no one seated at those tables, the unpleasant hostess both said it will be another 10 -20 minute waiting time. Around 10:30 we received a text that a table was available , thise 2 tables where still empty. We could be seated sooner but we felt that we were not welcome and maybe the hostess hoped for us to go somewhere else. That’s is my feeling Management teach your hostess to smile and be pleasant to guests. You are in service industry where smile and courtesy is a must. We been here many times in the past and we enjoy this place all the time. This time I felt annoyed I do have to say that the manager Gina Russo Was very nice on listening to my complain and was very apologetic and professional, Unfortunately one bad apple can spoil...
Read moreMy best friend and I had reservations here for an afternoon tea. We normally do the afternoon tea service at the Waldorf Astoria's tea lounge but thought we'd branch out, especially since I love caviar.
The hostess was friendly, but our server, a middle-aged woman with dark hair, seemed pretty uninterested in us. I thought for sure she'd come around and offer us drinks during our tea, like a cocktail, since bars want to sell alcohol, but she only checked on us once the whole time. She didn't seem particularly friendly or happy to be there.
The atmosphere is definitely better at the Waldorf Astoria. Over there, you have beautiful views and a light, airy room with huge windows. At the Petrossian Bar, we were seated inside, and our view was just tourists wandering through the casino lobby. It wasn't bad and was good for people-watching, but it definitely doesn't have an elevated vibe or anything.
The teas were tasty, as was the caviar, but the scones and snacks were better at the Waldorf Astoria. The condiments for the scones were set down without explanation, and our server walked away.
While I enjoyed the food and tea, I expect a lot more from tea at a high-end hotel like the Bellagio. I'll be sticking to the Waldorf Astoria's afternoon tea...
