Currently, Noodles is serving a few days a week out of Jasmin restaurant while Noodles is under construction. Therefore, while I gave the atmosphere 5 stars, keep in mind that I was being served in the Jasmin restaurant.
The food here is good, not great, but I would visit again. My main critique would be that the dumplings were not very tender. The fillings were tasty and they were stuffed with a lot of filling, the dough was just a bit tough and chewy for my tastes.
I opted for a few items from the Dim Sum portion of the menu. I absolutely crave soup dumplings so I was excited to learn their Shanghai Dimpling is a pork filled soup dumpling. They were quite tasty and the vinegar that is served with them offered a lovely tangy flavor. I’m also a fan of pan fried potstickers and these were prepared perfectly. Sometimes there is too much crispness, sometimes too little, but Noodles nailed it. Again, there was a ton of filling and the sweet chili sauce gave it a nice kick. I was very curious about the shrimp balls. Yep, I know, sounds really interesting, huh? Well, they were! Ground, minced and diced shrimp are formed into a ball and then topped with very light, thin wonton strips and deep fried. They tasted nice, like shrimp. Ha ha. If you are averse to texture, you may rethink this one. The middle was kind of spongy, almost eggy. I enjoyed them, but wouldn’t order it again. They are a great shareable size, the portion is 4 racquetball sized shrimp balls.
So, the biggest surprise of the meal? I actually ordered a margarita at an Asian restaurant. I know, I know, I almost decided against it but I wanted something different and not a Mai Tai. It was absolutely delicious!!!!
Now, the service here is over the top! You never have to worry about dirty plates on the table, low water, or missing a smile as they check on you or bring food your way. Customer service is huge for me and the staff at Noodles is very impressive, helpful and kind. Every single person I came into contact with was delightful.
The fountain view was also a nice surprise. But again, I was in the Jasmin location and not the normal...
Read moreThe service we got was disappointing.
When we sit down, I immediately got the sense that the staff wanted us to eat and leave ASAP. We were not given enough time to go through the manu; the waitresses kept rushing us to order. The restaurant is half empty, so it was not at peak hours.
The speed of service is very fast. We got our food within 5 minutes after we order. My mom and I got 2 bowls of noodle soups. My mom took out some noodle and put it on a small plate to cool it down. She was going to finish that later. After about 15 minutes, a waitress saw my mom stopped eating and using her phone. The waitress approached and asked if my mom was done. While the waitress was asking the question, her hands were already moving, taking away my mom’s bowl and putting garbage on the small plate with the noodle that was meant to be eaten later. We basically wasted a whole bowl of noodle yet still got charged. When the waitress noticed I was visibly shocked and upset on what just happened, no action was taken to address the issue. Instead, a manger looking person came up to me right away and asked if I want to pay for the food during checkout, or I want to pay on the spot. I can’t believe I was asked how I would like to pay after what just happened.
My mom and I didn’t say anything because there was no point. What’s done is done. We were not expecting a VIP service here, but taking away the bowl before we even finish the food was worst of the worst. I still tipped because I don’t want to negatively affect other servers’ income, even it may not be a lot, and they may not even care.
I cannot understand why they want to kick us out so bad. We were not being difficult. We were nice to all the servers that approached us. We were reasonable and understanding. The only time we asked for service was when we ordered food. I hope no one else will the service as we did, and I really hope it was just an accident that we were...
Read moreUnfortunately, Noodles used 2be a 4 even a 5 star restaurant but now became barely 1 star. Actually too bad there is no minus stars that i can give to Noodles. Unfortunately, they cant get themselves organized after Covid. Now, they are even a worse of a mess. There is 1 long face hostess at the door, n i remind u Noodles is located in a very small space. The hostess takes names n phn #s of the customers waiting 2b seated so they can get a text within 45 mins to an hour when a table is available. She hands out the phone or online orders that are piled up by her, people also give her their take out orders n on the top of it all she also processes the charges. We stay at Bellagio for over 20 years n go to Noodles every time we r in LV. This time, it was even worse than b4, after observing the disaster, we decided that Noodles chapter is permanently closed for us. Let me tell you no restaurant or no type of food is worth while to wait just bcuz they created a messy system n make the actual restaurant customers wait for all that ridicilousness. Vegas is full of restaurants, u ll never b hungry here, if Noodless wants 2b a walk-through MacDonalds then let it be. Their service became lousy, food quality declined. During our last trip, we tried it twice both times were pretty bad. Those who plan to go there should think twice before making the reservation. After watching the mess at the Noodles, we had a nice stroll to Aria. Went to Lemongrass, in.less than few minutes we were seated at the bar. Ordered our drinks n food. Had a very nice dinner n walked back to our hotel, to Bellagio. As i said, u never worry not getting in any restaurant in Vegas, bcuz u ll easily find one w/the same type of food n possibly better quality n service, just like we did....
