Discriminative Manager (Marilee)
I went to this store on a recent trip to Las Vegas and the lovely security guard asked for me to wait in line behind another gentleman who was waiting due to the store being at its capacity of patrons during COVID guidelines. I obliged and waited with my friend quietly until an employee approached me and made the comment that "it would be a while until they will allow me in". She didn't tell anyone else in line only me and I was the second person in line. She was looking at me up and down while telling me this. I was surprised that she seemed to be judging me and determining if I should even go in and have her team assist me. More surprising was the fact that I was wearing a Chanel coat, shoes, and waist bag as she had reached that determination. Finally after 15-20 minutes, my turn came. At the same time as it was my turn, another asian woman came and not in line asking to speak to a specific associate to assist her. She was asked if she had an appointment and answered she did not. Even though the asian customer had no appointment and I was next in line, Marilee (who told me she was the manager) was allowing her to go in before me and bluntly told me to wait longer and next available associate will be with me. I could not believe my ears, Marilee was treating me this way for no reason and although I let go of her demeanor, she was still going out of her way to humiliate me and refuse me my turn in line to better accommodate another customer who had no appointment and was not asked to stay in line like everyone else.
I finally spoke up and insisted that I would be next as it was my turn and she did not have an appointment and she must wait in line like everyone else. Even the customer was agreeing with me but Marilee was being persuasive. I demanded to be seen next and finally she gave up and I did. I was in there for a total of 15 minutes to purchase the bag that I needed. I went back to my hotel room and was just feeling really challenged from her attitude and demeanor. The fact that Chanel had her posted as their manager blew my mind as I have never had any issues with any Chanel store before and the whole thing just didn't settle with me right. I went back the next morning to return my item and repurchase at my local store because in all honesty, I did not want to give her any credit or business after the way she targeted me for no reason. I felt humiliated and I am shocked to not see any other mention of this on here. In my experience, a person in that caliber is a bully and has many victims not just one. Perhaps I am the only one spending the time to speak up for the principal of it and filing a formal complaint with Chanel as well as BBB but I hope my message here will encourage others who have been her victim to...
Read moreI should've checked these reviews before I went. This was the horrible expression I've ever had. I was waiting for my hobo bag I couldn't get it in LA , so I went to Crystal but they said it was sold out 1day before and very friendly checked palazzo or this location have it. So I came in.
I know what I want already, so I asked sales person very nicely, she cut off me while I'm talking " I have to check we have it."
Normally I try to be nice everywhere, I was about to buy it. I knew I will get it so it won't take more than 5 min But her attitude made my mood really bad so I told her to hold it I think like 10min. She said really rude no where hold it for you , and I wasn't happy and was try to think if I really want that model from her so I wanted to take time so asked about earing and she ended up teach me costume/fine jewelry. I don't really care if it's pretty I just buy it.
When I was try to look mirror she said "you can't be there" I wasn't even close inside. As a happy person I always get welcome. She was rude from the first impression, I rather not have that bag from her. I was disappointed so went out and went again to buy bag from another person he was nice at the first time but his coworker said " Christina was helping me" and I could feel not welcoming.
I was about to buy that model. If she was just ok , I definitely purchased. I ended up back to Crystal, got Fendi LV bags. I spent more at Crystal they are more friendly.
She can't think or act she is chanel. Even though they work for chanel, that doesn't mean they are something.
Of course I appreciate helpers for shopping, but they don't give it to me " I buy it"
This location is Horrible . Even can't expect costumer service, you can't be that rude. I don't need that model anymore , I will go my place buy different model again.
Lucky me I didn't spend for...
Read moreI have been a fan of Chanel since I was young and when I was able to afford it, I had been buying purses and shoes from LA and SD. With the impact of social media in luxury products, it's been harder and harder to get the stuffs I needed due to supply and demand and I noticed most of the SAs are focused on different clientele aka selling thru IG and getting extra fee for their service. Though I continue to purchase in the past years, I am not that satisfied with the SAs that helped me which gives fake promises and was just being helpful cuz you are in front of them. After visiting Bellagio last April and being helped by Kathleen and Connie, I enjoyed shopping at Chanel again and have been happier with my Chanel experience. Kathleen gives the best makeup advice and does great in her job. I call her the face of Chanel as you can't missed her in the beauty section with her very classy style and some gorgeous pearls. She works with Connie who is another exceptional SA who does help her clients as much as she can and goes above and beyond to deliver a memorable Chanel experience. After searching for a boutique that will satisfy my CC cravings, I now feel assured that I have these go to people whenever I'm in town or who are just a text away if I've been itching for another purse or shoes . Thank you so much Kathleen and Connie! I highly recommend these two Chanel ladies...
