Sirrico’s Pizza – NYNY Casino (2025 Update)

I used to consider Sirrico’s a solid option for a quick, reasonably priced slice of NY-style pizza in the NYNY Casino. A few years ago, my experience was mostly positive—$10 got you a slice and a beer, the pizza had a good balance of crisp and chew, and despite the usual line out the door, service was quick. If you were in the mood for a whole pie, they’d make one fresh in about 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, my latest visit left me disappointed. The price for a slice and a beer has jumped to $11.95, which I expected to some degree given how everything has gotten more expensive. What I didn’t expect was the drop in quality. The pizza itself has changed—it was always a thin-crust style, but now it feels like they’ve figured out the absolute minimum amount of dough they can use while still technically calling it a pizza slice. One slice was overly crispy, while the other was strangely doughy, making for an inconsistent experience.

Sirrico’s used to be a go-to for a solid slice at a fair price, but now it feels like they’re charging more while giving you less. If you’re in NYNY and craving pizza, it might still be a convenient option, but it’s no longer the easy recommendation...

I’ve had bad service before but this tops it! My wife and I decided to go in and grab a slice of pizza to take up to our room before heading out to enjoy the casino. While checking out I politely asked for a box to go. Apparently I wasn’t fast enough to hand the woman my two slices so that she could put them into the box (I was getting my wallet out at the time and going as fast as I could). This employee was so angry that she threw my food into the box and shoved it back to me at a 90° angle (remember, there’s pizza in the box). She mumbled something while she was doing so as well. I just couldn’t believe someone could do such a thing. All I wanted was two slices of pizza and a coke. Nobody deserves to be treated this way NOBODY! (My dog gets better treatment that Sirrico’s gave me). That woman made me so angry that I contacted the management of the casino and we ended up staying in our room that night. It was truly something that I will never forget. It’s sad when you fly over 2000 miles and get treated like that. I just do not know what’s wrong with...

I had high hopes for this place. I heard it was really good and I had planned on eating here on this day because I knew I was going to be in the casino that day. When I went in, there were several pies already prepared I didn’t see a cheese, but I asked for a slice of cheese and it appeared instantly. It appeared as though he had pulled out of the oven, but it was still solidified, and there was no warmth to it at all whatsoever. There was no one in line they weren’t busy and even if they were, they should still take the time to heat up the pizza. If you’re not going to serve fresh pizza, you can at least make sure that it’s hot. Especially if you’re charging eight dollars for a slice. And then, of course when you cash out the machine asks for a tip. A tip for what? There’s four people standing here and I still got served one cold ass pizza pizza. Maybe the tourist will tip for it but not...

I go to New York City a lot for work and my favorite snack is a slice of pizza. I’ve eaten at easily over 100 different pizza spots in New York. This is by far the worst pizza restaurant I’ve been to. New York Pizza should be able to be held in one hand while folded. The pizza I got was super floppy. Rather than sticking the slice in the oven to warm it up, which is common, they just slapped it on a plastic plate and handed it to me. It was barely warm and lacked flavor. To use a Vegas benchmark, the secret pizza place at Cosmopolitan is easily 10 times better. This place would be considered bad by mall food court standards. I really can’t emphasize enough just how bad this place is. My pizza bar is extremely low… I love pizza…period. But I’ll never eat here again.
