I recently visited the Flamingo Go Pool and had an incredibly disappointing experience. As a paying customer, I expected to have a pleasant and enjoyable time, but unfortunately, that was far from the reality.
First and foremost, despite paying for a room at the Flamingo, I was shocked to discover that my reservation did not grant me a seat at the pool. It's absurd that guests are required to pay an additional $125 per person for loungers. This kind of price tag for a seat is simply unreasonable and feels like a blatant money-grab.
To make matters worse, the pool staff's claim of a first-come, first-served policy for loungers was completely misleading. I arrived at 9:15 am, only to find that there were no available loungers whatsoever. It's extremely frustrating to be promised a service and then not have it delivered as advertised. This lack of organization and consideration for guests' expectations is unacceptable.
Moreover, what made the experience even more infuriating was the fact that people who hadn't paid were invading the space reserved for paying customers throughout the day. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the waitstaff, no action was taken to rectify the situation. It's deeply disappointing that the staff failed to enforce their own rules and ensure a fair and pleasant environment for paying guests.
Another aspect that left a sour taste in my mouth was the exorbitant pricing structure. It's one thing to offer premium services and options for those willing to pay extra, but the Flamingo Go Pool takes it to another level. Loungers priced at $182, with a required consumption of $300 or $400, are simply outrageous. Such exorbitant charges were not clearly communicated upfront, leading to an unpleasant surprise.
Throughout my time at the pool, I found it frustrating that the waitstaff was consistently slow and inattentive. It seemed as though they were understaffed or simply disinterested in providing a satisfactory experience for guests. The lack of timely service made it difficult to enjoy the amenities and added unnecessary frustration to what was supposed to be a relaxing day.
To make matters worse, when the bill finally arrived, it included suggested tips that were completely unwarranted given the quality of service received. This practice left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured into tipping more than I felt was deserved. It's disheartening when an establishment attempts to manipulate guests into tipping higher amounts by suggesting inflated gratuities, especially when the service itself was subpar.
As a paying customer, I believe that exceptional service should be the standard, and tipping should be based on the level of service provided. It is not the responsibility of the establishment to dictate the amount of tips through suggested amounts on the bill. This practice not only undermines the genuine nature of tipping but also creates an unpleasant atmosphere for guests.
In conclusion, my experience at the Flamingo Go Pool was marred by inadequate service and questionable billing practices. The lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff and the inclusion of suggested tips on the bill only exacerbated my disappointment. As a guest, I expect transparency, fairness, and genuine service, and unfortunately, my visit fell short on all counts. The lack of available loungers despite paying for a room, the invasion of space by non-paying guests, and the unreasonable pricing structure all contributed to a horrible visit. I strongly urge the management of Flamingo to address these issues promptly and make significant improvements to their policies and customer service. As a paying customer, I expected better, and unfortunately, I left the premises feeling thoroughly...
Read moreMy friends and I visited the new and improved Flamingo GO Pool on Saturday 7/12/25 and it was a BLAST. If you’re looking for a pool party with down to earth music and a very good vibe, I would recommend this pool party if you’re in Vegas.
Music: the DJ was on point the entire time while mixing 2000 hip-hop, with EDM, with country, and so much more. He really knew how to get the crowd hyped.
Pool Temp: the pool temperature was on the cooler side, but it was not an issue at all. With blazing desert heat reaching the 100’s, it was very, very refreshing, especially during the middle of the day. There is plenty of shade by the pool bar area to get a break from the sunrise as well as the grotto.
Prices: for being a Vegas pool party I thought the prices were about average. Not as high as those ultra luxury pool parties, but definitely elevated prices for food and drinks.
Cover: one of the best aspects of this pool party was that there was NO COVER charges or entrance fees. This is a rare site for a Vegas pool party and frankly, I hope they continue to do this. Having no cover allows you to check out the pool party risk free, if it’s not to your liking, you can simply just leave and not risk any money.
Daybeds/Chairs/Cabanas: the lounge chairs are very hard to come by if you’re not there early. I would personally recommend a day bed or a cabana for a better value. If you’re going to get a daybed or cabana, do not pre-book it online, I would recommend negotiating one at the door. You could probably walk away with a a better rate and lower minimum, which is what we did and it was perfect.
TIP: DO NOT BUY WATER. There is a water refill station next to the main bar on your way to the women’s restroom. Just ask the bartender for a cup of ice and refill your water as needed. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate.
Overall, this is probably one of the best pool parties I’ve been to in a while. It was great to see everybody dancing and getting hyped in the middle of the Vegas heat. It was a very down-to-earth crowd who just wanted to be there and have a good time. No frills and no boujee-ness which I loved. This pool party has something for everyone whether you want be in the pool, turning up, or you want to be chilling in the...
Read moreI went with a group on a Friday in August. We got in line around 15 minutes before they opened. I would estimate there were probably 50 people in line by the time the pool opened. As the capacity of the pool was way above 50, getting in line early is only needed if it is important to you to get a pool chair. After the initial opening line had cleared (which only took a few minutes) people were able to easily get in from 9:00am to about 12:30pm. After that point I usually noticed a short line was formed. As we weren't in that line and I cant say how long it took to get through. There was no DJ the day we went. There did seem to be a small stage area at the pool, but on the day we went it was covered by a TV screen, which was turned off. Table games such as blackjack and craps were not available. The area that previously served in this capacity in prior years had been converted into an area for pool chairs. They serve food at the pool. Generally our group found the food was better than we were expecting. Items that were available included breakfast sandwich's and chicken tenders. A small amount of lockers were available. Our group did not use them, but it seemed like they were managed/rented through use of a touchscreen in the area. Overall we found the pool area to be clean. Bathrooms were being regularly maintained and cleaned throughout the day. The pool water is not heated. Which meant the water was pretty brisk, but it honestly felt really good in contrast to the 110...
