Follow-Up Review:
I wanted to provide an update on my previous experience. We did return with secondary identification, which confirmed that my sister’s ID was, in fact, legitimate. Despite proving her age beyond any doubt, the manager, Mikhail, continued to be dismissive and rude. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of their mistake, and no effort to show any kindness or resolve the situation in a professional manner.
Mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled was deeply disappointing—especially for a fine dining establishment. A simple apology and a bit of understanding would have gone a long way, but instead, we were met with more poor treatment.
I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously by the people above the AGM who clearly does not care about providing genuine hospitality, as this experience left us with a lasting negative impression. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone from corporate about this matter.
ALSO, notice how they acknowledge every other review besides this one, where they know they're in the wrong.
——— This restaurant completely ruined my little sister’s 21st birthday celebration. Upon arrival, their staff wrongfully accused her of using a fake ID when it absolutely was not. We even offered to return the next day with additional forms of identification to prove her age, but the service we received throughout the entire situation was beyond disappointing.
I asked the manager how they planned to compensate us for ruining such a special night when we proved her age with another valid ID. The response? “We’d let you dine here.” That was it. So, your idea of making things right is to simply allow us to spend our money at your restaurant after your staff embarrassed us and ruined our evening?
We would have had to take two Ubers just to retrieve her passport—an unnecessary expense and hassle—on what was supposed to be a celebratory night. Frankly, it wasn’t even worth the effort. We chose to walk away instead, because the damage was already done. Even Cosmopolitan security later verified that her ID was legitimate—something your untrained security team failed to recognize.
It’s unacceptable for a fine dining establishment to treat guests this way. You owe it to your customers to have a better-trained staff and a management team that actually understands hospitality and customer service. We expected a special, memorable night—instead, we left with nothing but frustration and disappointment. Absolutely...
Read moreHave to say, I'm a bit surprised by the glowing reviews. I'm super bummed we chose this as our first night in Vegas steak dinner as we're staying in the cosmopolitan. * Not fine dining* you're most definitely paying for the atmosphere, which is what many are after and that's okay. We wanted posh + fine dining. It's definitely a hot spot for younger hip crowd (I guess I'm officially NOT that anymore if I'm saying that LOL) The concierge called it a steak house + night club and we were stoked when we heard this. Until it came time to actually EAT. Next time I'd grab a cocktail and enjoy the fun, skip the overpriced meal. After we ate, we wished we went with one of the numerous mid grade fare in the same hotel. Flank steak was sub par. We had the truffle pasta, had no truffle. I had flank steak and added lobster topping. Lobster was GREAT. The salads (they gave me the wrong basic boring salad, but okay...I was starving). My partners Wedge salad was super intense with the excessive thick dressing (over powered the salad IMO, couldn't eat it). Flourless GF cake is more like a cake bottom (I think made with chocolate and peanut butter) with whipped chocolate mousse, not your regular flourless chocolate cake. That was probably my fav part of meal (contains nuts).
I personally loved the early 2000 jams - you won't be able to speak to the person you're eating with unless you yell. Our reservation was for 10:15pm and we were seated at 11:20pm after being told there was a 20 minute delay. Not sure if it's poor management or them just trying to amp the hype. I inquired twice about being seated (first meal of our travel day and our bellies full of martinis & snacks - starving) and they finally (and begrudgingly 😐) sat us in an empty table I'd been staring at for 15 minutes. The tudes on the hostess - oof! Vegas, baby!
Gluten free folks: Not a ton of options for GF but you can get by! Our waiter was seasoned and was able to tell me which items were GF but made a face like "hmmm! We don't have many options' Only entree that is GF is the salmon. All steak menu is GF, but for the prices and quality/quantity and the fact you're in Vegas - go to a better steak house FOR SURE if you're...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a high-energy, modern atmosphere that perfectly blends sophistication with a fun Vegas vibe. The lighting, music, and ambiance set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible evening.
We were lucky enough to have Ed as our server, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He was not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable but also friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel cared for. He paced our meal perfectly, made excellent recommendations, and checked in just the right amount without ever interrupting the flow of the evening. He elevated our entire experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food.. absolutely phenomenal.
We started with the Tuna Tartare and Burrata, both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The tuna was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the burrata was creamy and paired perfectly with the accompaniments.
We also shared some sashimi, which was impressively fresh for a steakhouse. A nice surprise and a great start to our meal.
For entrées, we ordered the Free-Range Chicken and the Chilean Sea Bass, both cooked to absolute perfection. The chicken was juicy with a flavorful, crisp skin, and the seabass was tender, flaky, and seasoned just right. The quality and execution of both dishes really stood out.
Our sides were equally memorable. We had the Broccolini, Mac & Cheese, and Truffle Fries. Each one was delicious and indulgent in its own way. The broccolini had a nice char and crunch, the mac & cheese was rich and creamy, and the truffle fries were crispy, aromatic, and addictive.
Everything from start to finish was seamless. The presentation was on point, the timing of each course was well thought out, and the overall experience felt luxurious but still relaxed and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for an amazing dinner in Las Vegas with top-tier food, an upbeat vibe, and outstanding service, STK is it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Ed as your server, you’re in excellent hands. We’ll absolutely be back and we’ll be telling everyone we know to check...
