It was late and we were all tired from a long road trip. As soon as we checked in, we went straight to the food court as it promised lots of Asian cuisine. My son saw the dessert stall at the middle of the food court and begged for a shaved ice. I saw people buying bowls of big delicious shaved ice and I caved in.
Strawberry & cream: my son’s request and I thought it would be just a regular shaved ice with strawberries but I was wrong! The shaved ice itself was drenched with lots of sweet condensed milk (yum!) The strawberry syrup was sweet with a hint of sour. A perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream made this as my favorite between the two that I ordered. Ice kacang: I had high hopes for this as I saw the picture. The grass jelly, sweet red beans, vanilla ice cream, and the shaved ice tasted good. However, it was just an average shaved ice for me (nothing spectacular).
For $15 shaved ice, it had good portion. We shared 2 desserts between 5 people and we were all...
Read moreSweet Eats in the Resorts World food hall is an absolute must-try! I treated myself to the strawberries and cream shaved ice, and it was simply divine. The flavor was perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. What I didn't expect was the sheer size of the portion—it was incredibly generous! I definitely got my money's worth. Beyond the delicious treat, the service was exceptional. The two young guys working the afternoon shift on March 31st, 2025, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They had great attitudes, and were very helpful. Their positive energy really added to the experience. It's always a pleasure to encounter such wonderful customer service. If you're looking for a refreshing and delicious dessert in Resorts World, Sweet Eats is the place to go. I highly recommend the strawberries and cream shaved ice, and I'm sure their other offerings are just as fantastic. I'll definitely...
Read moreProbably the worst açai bowl I've ever had - when the server "scooped" the açai into the bowl it was the consistency of a watery smoothie. She also put the açai on top of the granola (plus extra granola on top) assumedly to give the açai some type of stability. Essentially, i was left with açai oatmeal. When i questioned her on the consistency of the açai she looked at me as if I was crazy and lightly shook the bowl as if to prove it was thick. This is my third time trying an açai bowl here: 1st time a year ago was great/freshly blended. 2nd time last winter was terrible but I wanted to give it another shot. Will not be back. Also, while waiting the 15+ minutes for my order, another server was scooping ice cream and had lifted the tub onto the counter and the brand was something called Thrifty. Maybe I'm just being petty at this point but I seriously doubt the "quality" described by...
