Drinks are $19.50, let me get that out of the way, but that's not what deserves the one star. What I just witnessed by the staff is why this place is unprofessional. A completely sober couple comes in. They both order a premium drink and cozy up to the bar. They take out their phone, take some selfies, and obviously going to have a nice night out without the kids. They celebrate their first drink of the night with a little toast when the man's drink slips out of his hand, and breaks on the bar, drink spilling on wife. After flagging down the bartender for towels, mess is cleaned up and all is ok. A few minutes pass and the gentleman asks, "So can I get another drink?" at which Sam the bartender replies, "Sure, you can buy another one." The patron asks if he can get the drink replaced, since obviously he didn't get to drink his. Sam says that they aren't in the business to give away free drinks, and now the establishment also has to pay for the broken glass, so No, no he can't get his drink replaced. The man asks for the manager. Sam walks over to another bartender, speaks to him for about 20 seconds, and then says, "Yeah, he said no." "That's the manager?"he asks, "No, but he's worked here for a few years, so he would know the policy." ,Sam replies. The man again asks to speak to the manager. Sam says ok, walks to the end of the bar and begins to serve the new customers walking in. Several minutes pass, with Sam making no effort to actually locate the manager, and eventually the man asks the other bartender to call for a manager. This bartender leaves, comes back a few minutes later and states that it's "Going to be awhile." He's not sure just how long, but it won't be soon. Now the customer is mad. Before all of this, and during, he's been pretty calm, and keeping his cool in front of his wife. He asks for the managers name and number. Sam in a condesending tone states that information is on the receipt, but still refuses to actually get the manager. The customer gets pretty mad and they say choice words back and forth to each other, the whole time Sam being very smug and arrogant, almost in a "What are you going to do about it tone?" Customer leaves, the two bartenders snicker to each other as he and his wife storm away. A ruined night out I'm sure for this couple. All of this could have been avoided if a little common sense and customer service was taken in. The drink was new, they weren't pulling a scam on the bar, and at $20+ per drink, the bar isn't losing money on replacing the drink. (30 seconds after they leave the manager appears from the back. Way to avoid the whole thing dude.) By the way, a bottled water is $9.75 too. A customer got one as I was leaving. He handed Sam cash, Sam quickly states "$9.75" and grabs the cash. The customer says "Wait, how much?" and Sam pretends not to hear him and walks away. It's Vegas, it's Caesar's, we get it. You charge double for what a drink should cost, even in Vegas That doesn't give you the license to be like that. If the table was turned, Sam would expect better treatment from a bartender, but for some reason he thinks he's in the right just because of the side if the bar he is standing at. Bad job Sam. Bad job...
Read moreI couldn't actually believe how rude the staff were here. I went out with my boyfriend and his family for a nice drink out before a meal, we were with his grandma so it's not like we were a loud young bunch of people that were going to be an obvious problem. The first girl that served us was "ok" she got our drinks right and we were happy with the way she spoke to us, she said that we had to pay for each round as we had it, it was an expensive place so we understood why so we paid her and gave a tip. The second girl who served us was a little rude, she forgot glasses for two of our drinks, we called her back and asked her for the glasses, she walked away and never came back with them. We then called another girl over and asked for some glasses, she said that she would get them, she walked away and 10 mins later we were still sitting there without any glasses, in the end my boyfriends grandma went to the bar and asked for to glasses, she was given them but the face the man gave her was a picture!!! Then another girl came over to take the payment for the last round, we had it out on the table, some notes and some coins, she refused to take the coins saying that they only take notes. I was so confused by this as money surely is money despite its form. I began to tell her that we had bad service by other people there and her response was "well you guys weren't tipping so that's probably why you got bad service". I was so shocked by this I unfortunately didn't say that we had actually tipped the first girl that served us. We were appauled and left straight away!! I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone and I hope that people get better service...
Read moreWe were waiting for the doors to open for the Celine Dion show and went in for a drink. We waited at our table for about 5 minutes with no one coming g over. I went to The bar and asked for a drink menu and was told to go back to my table and a waitress would bring one. Waited another 5 and she came with an ipad for a menu. We chose our drinks and they came pretty fast. The French 75 I ordered was really well made. Then we needed to leave. Asked for a check and the waitress never came back. Finally went to the bar after 10 minutes and asked again for the check. She had it on her tray and said she would be right back. She walks off and waits on 5 tables and then comes back with the check. I give her my card and All she does is hand both to the bartender. 20 minutes have passed since we asked for our check. It was actually the worst service I have ever had. She just could not have cared less. I would have done something more to force the issue but I was morbidly interested in how long she would ignore us. It...
