Haagen Dazs — Restaurant in Paramus

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely unbelievable.. the person helping us was extremely rude. If you asked a question, he had no manners and responded with an attitude. And oh my god why did we say we wanted to take our icecream to go, instead of no problem, he threw out the spoons already in the cup and rolled his eyes..you would think he would have common sense to give us new spoons and at least a bag. Nothing and after paying he didn’t say thank you! Will not be back to this icecream location .. learn how to speak to your customers especially if you want to increase your business! My family owned a restaurant and I get dealing with the public isn’t the easiest but still you need to learn how to talk to your customers and have better etiquette. The owner needs to train you all better or needs a completely new staff. This is an icecream store, you should be friendly instead of everyone with their hands folded on their phones not wanting to work. If you don’t like your job, work somewhere else! That simple! And I forgot to add they are cheap with their icecream.. 2 scoops of icecream equal one scoop! Even when I asked for a little more I was looked at sideways and was barely given anymore .. Normally, I love Haagen Dazs. The chain's ice creams, shakes and cakes are made with premium ingredients. The luxurious taste is worth the premium price. However, this location's shady customer service will have me looking elsewhere for a sweet snack the next time I'm at the mall.

I asked for a ice cream in a small cup which was $8.50, expensive, even for Haagen Dazs. He asked if I wanted the next size up, Regular, for just a dollar more. I declined.

He scooped my ice cream into the cup, turned his back and, I presume, put it on a scale. His partner came to talk to him and examine the cup of ice cream. For what reason? They knew what they were doing. They had charged me for the Regular size anyway: after I had paid for it, I paid nearly $10.

Ask and check your receipt!!!!!! When they didn’t give me the receipt I asked for it, they told me the machine was not printing, when I insisted the manager came to tell me the same thing. When I insisted more firmly, they printed it.

We got a dulce de leche shake, a dulce de leche dazzler, two waffle cones with ice cream - $53.
