Scholl Bros. BBQ — Restaurant in Paris

I might eat here again but I won't try anything I ate tonight a second time. I ordered the Rib Platter. The ribs where largely disappointing. For the price I expected more. Both in quality and quantity. It was more chewy than I would have liked and aside from the sauce didn't have a notable taste.

The corn was in a warm creamy sauce which was tasty but the corn itself also didn't really have any taste and had a weird uncooked texture. The macaroni didn't have any big pop that I was expecting. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't better than microwave quality. Both sides where very small, the amount I would portion for a child probably.

Personally I think any time you get any form of bbq from a bbq shop it should come with a side of bbq sauce. The pulled pork sandwich didn't not come with any sauce. It was good but would have expected the bun to be buttered and toasted.

Again, I'll probably be back, just to try something else. And I’ll update my review at that point.

Honestly I forgot that I had been before. I got the platter again with different sides. Just as disappointing this time as it was the first.

I called my order in and then had to wait in the order line for thirty minutes. Two barbecue dishes neither of which came with any sauce or flavor. I ordered the 6 rib platter and only got 4 ribs. They would not honor the prices advertised on their own website.

Dry meats, sides out of the can from Walmart, super blan and disgusting, Walmart bread cheap loaf at that, cheap jarred pickles that don’t even taste like a pickle. We are from out of town and this is our first and last time here. All the sides were absolutely horrendous and nothing is homemade, it’s all cheap trash out the can from Walmart and not sure where they get their meats but they are on the dry side and very blan. The building itself and the setting isn’t bad at all and the concept is great but the owners of this restaurant know nothing about real bbq let me just say that because their sold called “signature” sauce tasted worse than Kraft bbq sauce from Walmart and I tell no lies. I’ve been all over this nation many and many times over and over and I’ve ate at famous bbq pit houses, low end bbq shacks and high end bbq shacks and mediocre class bbq restaurants all above and in between, some absolutely amazing and unforgettable and some just down right awful. Like I said this place has potential but has the wrong owners, not that they are bad people because I don’t even know them and the employees here are friendly, but the owners are in the wrong business and I’m sorry if this offends anyone but the food here is honestly bottom of the barrel and...

I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the presentation of my food. (See the pictures for yourself) It matters to me that my food is prepared the way that I order it. I paid $27.02 for a sliced brisket plate and a sliced brisket sandwich. (FYI) They charge extra if you are paying with a debit card 🥴So the first pic was my first initial order where I had asked for the bark/fat to be left on cause that just adds to the flavor (iykyk) so I get home the meat was not as I had requested it just didn't even look appetizing, no barbeque business should be sending out plates looking like this. They should be ashamed. 🥺So I go back and inform them that it was not prepared as I had ordered it nor did I have barbeque sauce. The second plate is what they replaced it with, they both look like some scraps that you would give your dog or something. They did not provide me quality or quantity.. Keith Lee would be sooooo disgusted with this place 🤣as I am right now. Because I see all these plates that look wonderful and this is what you serve me. I even came back and gave you an opportunity to make it right and this is all I got to show....
