This might be the first bad review I've ever left a place. I'm usually a pretty understanding person and I've worked way too many food service jobs myself so I get it, it sucks. But what I witnessed tonight was not OK. This was somewhere in between 6-6:20 PM. I was inside the restaurant and witnessed a somewhat flustered woman come inside and go to the counter. She waited patiently for a few minutes until nobody greeted her or asked what she needed so she said (raising her voice only enough to be heard by the people in back) "excuse me?". When someone finally came to see what she needed, she explained that she was allergic to mayo but it had been put on her sandwich anyway despite her having ordered it without. It was even on the receipt the way she had ordered it. During this time, she never yelled, never cussed anyone out, only asked for a refund (which she deserved imo) and that this situation be taken seriously because if her reaction was more severe, this could have been really bad. And she's right, restaurants have killed people by not taking allergy requests seriously enough in the past. She had every right to be upset, but she wasn't even mean or rude about it. Once issued the refund, she thanked the man for correcting it and left. As soon as she was out that door, several of your workers started talking shit on her, mocking her, etc. while another man and I stood by the counter well within hearing distance... I know it's a McDonald's but the level of unprofessionalism was CRAZY. Never mind the fact that 15-20 minutes went by as I stood by the mobile pick-up counter before anyone even asked me about my own order (that was literally only TWO items) that I was picking up. That seems to be the norm these days though honestly so I'm not even as upset about that. That woman deserved better though. I would be having a talk with your evening crew if I were you. I would NOT want my customers hearing the things I heard tonight after she left if I was a business owner and or manager. I've been coming to this McDonald's my whole life since I live here in Park City but after tonight I don't think I'll ever be visiting again and I'll be letting everyone else I know that visits this location as well because I'd hate for anyone I cared about to be treated with such disrespect when all they wanted was the meal that they paid for. I would have called to try and let a manager know directly so you wouldn't have the bad review on your reputation because I understand shit happens and people have bad days, but something tells me I wouldn't have been taken seriously. And this IS a very serious matter actually. Like what if that mistake HAD killed someone??? I imagine that would be a much bigger inconvenience than just giving one woman a refund. PLEASE do...
Read moreNew update: 7-15-23 Lobby closes at 9pm. Not listed on schedule, no signs. Doors locked. My app code that I opened up to use at the counter was deemed invalid. In an RV can't use drive thru, mobile orders, and no walk up service. Employee said he couldn't honor app # and was sorry we weren't local and didn't realize that they close the doors at 9pm. Please update the hours on the schedule. More than frustrating. New update: 12-3-21 Went through drive thru. Usually order French fries made to order, with no problem. Window server-rolled his eyes when we requested the fresh fries, as the ones we were served were not fresh. He had the audacity to inform us we took too long in the drive thru line. What? Again, eye rolling and snarky comments about our request. 2nd order of fries slung at us through via the window and server rolls eyes and gives indignant facial expression. Again fries were not fresh as requested. Asked for a Manager. The Manager conversed in a bit of an aggressive manner. Requested the non fresh fries back (gladly) and had us pull forward. We received half an order of fresh fries. The delivery server was upbeat and pleasant. This location had improved over the summer and we called several times praising their performance. We love leaving positive reviews. The behavior of the window server who most obviously hates his job and possibly people combined with the in your face kind of Manager was less than "on brand" for McDonald's. We didn't trust the quality of the fries and went elsewhere for fries. We travel extensively throughout the United States and the rudeness displayed by the window server this evening was by far the worst an employee has ever visibly acted in front of us. Summer 2021 excellent service on several occasions. Called the Manager to report the above and beyond of the entire experiences. Jan 2021'French fries were hot and fresh, just...
Read moreOrdered two McDouble’s with no pickle, extra onion and a large Carmel Frappe with no whipped cream extra caramel. At first, got bag with two burgers, and frappe and that had whipped cream. Sent back the frappe and took a bite of burger while waiting. Burger did not have any onion, let alone extra onions. Drive through girl was rude to us, since I “took a bite”. Said she could just give us onions or take back burgers. Gave her back the burgers and asked for area manager’s name. States she did not have to give out area manager’s name. Asked for her name and the store manager’s name. Again, said she was not required to give out the manager’s name nor her name. She stated she was a manager and asked for another manager. Another gentleman came over and said he was also not required to give out his name. He stated this was corporate run and not owned by any franchise. Unbelievable, that I was treated so poorly because they could not get a mobile order correct. McDonald’s wonder why people go to Chik Fil A- same or cheaper cost, better food and 200% better employee culture and customer service. Maybe a little training in customer appreciation would go a long way, because the two you have working right now are incredibly lacking in any customer service skills or appreciation. I will not go back to this...
