Not a good experience to say the least. The store was hot, dirty, and had flies all over the place. It took several seconds for anyone to even come out at which time the young man did not even say hello! I had to greet him. The only words out of his mouth were "how many are you getting?" When I asked him about the donut type he replied with "i dont know I guess" and now driving home I realize he didnt even put the right donuts in the box. Asked for 2 glazed, 2 strawberry and got 2 glazed and 2 cake donuts. $7 for 4 donuts is also overpriced for the experience. The donut themselves taste like really heavy grease, bad after taste. Maybe the kitchen is as dirty as the front? Filter and change your oil? Sorry to be blunt but it was an equally as bad experience. I'm just throwing this out there... dont waste your time go to Mr. Donuts in Lone Tree it's always fresh, the owners are as sweet as can be, and they always include fresh donut holes as a thank you for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mom and I like to try out different places, including donut shops. My all-time favorite donut shop is the Mr. Donut shop I grew up with in the 60s and 70s. They're long gone now but this Donut House location is about as close as you can get. The ladies working inside were very friendly and cheerful. Considering the size of the store they had a really good selection of donuts and pastry. And you could tell by the way they handled the donuts while putting them in the box that they took pride in their work. The Donut House might not be the biggest store but they're definitely better than the bigger one down the street. Handicap parking was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI asked for a cake doughnut and the girl behind the counter seemed to be fully confused about what a cake doughnut was. She responded with something to the effect of āwe do have ātheseāā pointing to an old fashioned doughnut. I went along with it after some bafflingly uninformed back and forth. And then I asked for a coffee. They said they hadnāt made coffee yet. It was mid morning. Why donāt you have coffee? What is this place? I paid. I left. I opened the bagā¦. Instead of getting a old fashioned doughnut they gave me a plain boring glazed doughnut. I am baffled.
Mind you this is the second time Iāve been here and the first time wasnāt much better.
If youāre looking for doughnuts, I would advise you to go to another shop or even a super market. Literally...
