Unfortunately, for a long time, I loved this place. It was my go to for celebrations, birthdays, and family events. It's loud, it's chaotic and the host/hostess doesn't want to deal with you. I ignored these small issues because - it's hibachi. Ever since 2020, we moved on to pick up. But today, something went wrong.
I ordered on their app, beyond menu, and made sure to give 45 minutes as we got the sushi for two plus two more rolls. I get there at the designated time and they tell me they don't have the order. Ok no problem, let me get my order number. From here, I later realized they just really didn't want to do my order...
The second hostess turns around to a printer, looks at the paper in it, folds it, then stabs it in the stake of (I assume) completed orders, turns and tells me, "I don't have it, would you like a refund or wait 30 minutes." Later, it occurred to me they wouldn't have been able to refund an order they don't have... but I had told them I still want my sushi. I had a family waiting for sushi.
She asked if she could take my phone to place the order which I was ok with since the sushi bar is right there but she went into the back with it. And not for a short amount of time either. When she was back, she "found" the order and handed me my phone.
I was in the waiting area before I decided I didn't like being in the way and getting dirty looks from the hostess. Thirty minutes later, I go in and an angry looking hostess hands over the bags.
I get home and I find out that they gave a pathetic tray, two of Pink Lady even though I ordered one and missing one Rock n Roll. Then I found hair in my salad.
I've been eating here for years and if not this one, one of their other chains. Needless to say,...
Read moreI made a reservation for Valentine’s Day for two at 7:30 this evening. I arrived at 7:15 only to be told that my reservation was being pushed out 15 to 25 minutes. There was absolutely nowhere to stand in the small lobby and so I asked the hostess if it would be OK to wait outside or in my car and she said yes she would be calling my cell phone when our table was ready Over an hour and went by and I still had not received a call so I called and asked if my table was ready and I was told that I could go ahead and come in and they would find a table but I may have to wait, but that she had tried to call me and got no answer. I confirm my phone number with her and she had it written down and I checked before that it was correct. I never had a missed call they never tried to reach out to me and I waited in a cold car for over an hour, because the lobby was so over packed that it was extending out out to the outside sidewalk . Because of this, my Valentine’s Day dinner was absolutely ruined. The service is absolutely horrible and I will never give them my money again, the hostess, although busy, and I understand, did not ever try to call my phone I had my phone in my hand, the entire time and it...
Read moreProps for being the only sushi restaurant open at 3:00 pm in Parker on a Thursday afternoon. Their prices are reasonable, and the service was solid. My wife ordered the L15. Sushi and Sashimi Combo Lunch Special and the chef went all out with his presentation. The miso soup and salad appetizers were unremarkable, but she loved the sashimi and left no bite behind on the main plate. I started with the shumai, which was mediocre, but the two baked rolls I chose almost made me forget about it. I picked their Volcano Roll which consists of Tuna, salmon, yellowtail with spicy mayo, eel sauce, scallion and fish eggs on top. First Volcano roll, i think I've ordered that actually looked like an actual volcano... also had just enough spice and great flavor. It was the best thing served during this late lunch. Next was the Mt.Fuji Special Roll (Baked & Deep Fried) loaded with crabmeat, avocado, cucumber, topped with baked fish, shrimp, onion, scallion, and carrot, which was pretty damn good, all around, in it's own right. I recommend dodging the appetizer menu and sticking to their specialties. The damage from the bill was light, and we...
