My wife and I rarely write negative reviews, but this visit truly warranted one. We’ve both been on a major health journey since March — dropping weight, training hard, and staying disciplined — so when we finally decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast outing, we chose the new Keke’s Breakfast Café in Parkland with high hopes. Our last Keke’s experience in Orlando was excellent. Unfortunately, this one was the complete opposite.
We were seated promptly, which was nice, but everything went downhill from there. It took about 10 minutes before our waitress even took our drink order, and when she returned, she brought my wife the wrong tea. No big deal — mistakes happen — but the way it was handled said a lot. She dropped it off and walked away without confirming the order. My wife decided to just go with it, figuring it wasn’t worth the hassle.
When our food arrived (brought out by someone else, not our waitress), everything was lukewarm — eggs, potatoes, all of it. But the worst part was my bagel: it had visible blue mold on it. Not a burn mark — actual mold. When we pointed it out, the staff took it away and brought another one, again with zero acknowledgment or apology.
We still hadn’t been given utensils at that point, so I was eating my potatoes with my hands until my wife flagged someone down — not even our server — to bring us cutlery. Later, when I asked for cream cheese for the bagel (because it was served plain), I was told it would be an extra charge, which honestly wasn’t the issue. It was the principle and the lack of basic care.
Then came the pancakes. No syrup on the table. Again, we had to wave someone down. Every single interaction was like pulling teeth — quick drop-offs, no follow-through, and absolutely no sense of service or attentiveness.
When my wife finally spoke to the manager, he seemed more inconvenienced than concerned. His tone made it feel like we were bothering him by bringing this up. There was no apology, no effort to make it right, just a quick “I’ll check on it” and he walked away.
Keke’s missed the mark completely on this one — both food safety and customer service. There are plenty of breakfast spots around Coral Springs and Parkland that not only serve better food but treat their guests like they actually matter. We left disappointed, frustrated, and certain we won’t...

Original review:
I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed in my experience at the new Keke’s location, I was so excited when I saw one was opening in Parkland and just so happened to be in the area right after it’s grand opening. The wait time wasn’t bad, which was a relief, but service was lackluster, and I found myself having to ask for the same basic things multiple time. The decor was clean and new but the lack of air flow was making me not feel very hot and not well while we waited probably about 10 minutes just to even get our water. It seemed like the waitress kept forgetting about us and I had to politely ask her again to bring things I had already asked before, things that should’ve come with what she was bringing i.e. creamer for the tea or lemon for the water, little details like that throughout the experience that were missed and I just didn’t really feel comfortable and like I could ever relax and enjoy my meal. I was also celebrating my birthday and I was hoping that there would be something they can do, even a slight discount for the meal. She mentioned something about an alcoholic drink, and when I said I don’t really drink, can we do something else, there was nothing else she suggested. She gave the impression she would check, then never mentioned it again or even wished me a happy birthday as we left. I’m surprised they couldn’t even knock off a few bucks from the meal, considering she suggested a drink, which would’ve been more expensive I would imagine. They forgot the correct side we had ordered with our meal and when we did later receive it, the fries were soggy and tasted like something someone just microwaved, definitely not the quality that I’m used to from other locations at Keke’s. Very disappointed in what I was expecting from a service and food quality standpoint. I didn’t feel the warm hospitality that I was expecting as a general customer let alone for a...
Read moreI recently visited Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience, largely thanks to our server, Lisa! From the moment we walked in, Lisa greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel right at home. Her energy was infectious, and she went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The food at Keke’s was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had the stuffed French toast, which was a dream, and my friend raved about their fluffy pancakes. But what truly made the visit unforgettable was Lisa’s exceptional service. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked in just the right amount, and even offered great recommendations from the menu. Her genuine kindness and enthusiasm for her job shone through in every interaction. You can tell she loves what she does, and it made our morning so much brighter. The atmosphere at Keke’s is cozy and welcoming, with a clean, modern diner vibe. Combined with Lisa’s outstanding hospitality, it’s no wonder this place has such a great reputation. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast and top-notch service, head to Keke’s and hope you get Lisa as your server—she’s hands down the sweetest person ever! I’ll definitely...
