If you’re a craft beer lover, this place is an absolute gem. The selection is truly impressive—rows upon rows of local brews, limited releases, seasonal specialties, and some hard-to-find imports that you just don’t see everywhere. Whether you’re into hazy IPAs, rich stouts, crisp lagers, or funky sours, there’s something here that will surprise and excite you. The shelves are always well-stocked and perfectly organized, making it easy to browse by style, brewery, or region without feeling overwhelmed. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They’re not just friendly—they’re passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping you find the right beer for your taste or occasion. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and they’re always ready with recommendations, pairing ideas, or info about the latest releases. It feels less like a store visit and more like a conversation with fellow beer enthusiasts. The organization and cleanliness of the space make the whole experience even better. Everything feels intentional, from how the beers are displayed to how new arrivals are featured, which makes it easy to discover something new every visit. Overall, it’s a top-notch spot for anyone who appreciates craft beer. Great selection, amazing staff, and a place that’s clearly run with care and passion....
Read moreAfter hearing about Macks for the last few months, I stopped in one day after work. The build your own 6 pack section was embarrassingly small. Everything just seemed randomly packed into the store. The 4 - 6 pack selection seemed good. Pricing seemed to be elevated 20% - 30% over other stores in the county selling the same or similar beers. There were 2 people working, when the man stocking shelves asked if he could help, I told him what beer I was looking for and who is was made by. At check out there were a few people ahead of me in line, when I checked out, after I gave my credit card to the cashier, she tried to correct my behavior, by telling me that I confused the person stocking because I said the brand name of the beer instead of the parent company. Which would be the equivalent of saying "I need a pack of Philip Morris" instead of asking for Marlboro menthol lights. They should remove the " top 50 beer store Men's Journal..." sign from the building, it just shows how low the standards are in the magazine. I am sure there will be a comment by the owner, there are better, cheaper, build your own 6 pack style beer stores about 15...
Read moreCame here a couple days ago on Sunday. Many friends and others highly recommend Mack’s for craft beer and build your own six pack of craft beer. The place is small, clean and loaded with all kinds of beer. The man and lady who worked the front were friendly and accommodating- they provided me with a box so that I can carry whatever beers I brought. Very good and extensive craft beer selection and it’s great when you buy one can of each rather than four or six packs. If you are into craft beer and or want to try beers you never had or can’t find, then I highly recommend Mack’s.
Compared to some other beer or bottle stores in the area, the prices are about the same and a little higher. Worth it in my opinion, especially when Mack’s has what I want or been looking for. The experience exceeded my expectations.
One opportunity- their parking lot could be a little bigger. Don’t let that discourage you from coming here...
