Yo, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Pasadena is absolutely fire! Our family of five (two adults, three kids) rolled up from East Fwy, and this spot was straight up incredible. The grilled salmon was pure perfection, flaky, seasoned just right, and only about $14, a total win for that gourmet vibe. The Chicken Alfredo? Creamy, saucy, pasta goals for around $13, with portions so big we had leftovers for days. The kids went wild for the Penne Pasta Marinara (about $5.99 each), scarfing down that tangy sauce like champs. And don’t get me started on the honey butter croissants, free with entrees, flaky, sweet, and so good we were ready to grab the whole basket to go. For five of us, the bill was around $60 with tax and tip, which is unreal for scratch made eats. The service was top tier, our server was awesome, keeping drinks topped off, dropping jokes that had us all cackling, and handling our kids’ sauce mess like a pro. The whole crew was on point, making a busy Monday night feel chill and welcoming. This place is a family friendly gem, cozy and perfect for a squad meal. We’re already hyped to come back for more salmon, pasta, and those unreal croissants. If you’re in Houston, hit up Cheddar’s, it delivers all the vibes for a great meal that won’t break the bank. Bet we’ll be back!

They have variety of drinks from alcoholic to non-alcoholic. I don't drink alcohol but I tried their tea and Oh my goodness it is delicious!! Their spinach cheese appetizer is awesome, try it. Their entreè are a bomb. They have varieties of dishes from steaks, chicken to seafood but you choose the sides. You should try the shrimps wrapped in bacon, very savoury! And great desserts. I noticed.they don't have a great variety of dessert. So, they should consider increase it. One thing I noticed in the vegetables they put a lot of black pepper and they should go easy on it. Another thing I noticed is that they will bring to the table a refill of your drink without you asking for it. The service at the table is excellent but they need to. improve the host at the entrance. Overall: it's great to gather with family and friends.

Coming to Cheddars for my first time was quite nice. I admired the staffs enthusiasm and liveliness. The atmosphere was cool I really vives with it. Great for conversation and the natural lighting from the sun roof was amazing. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I didn’t have to ask her for refills at all. We had the Trio appetizer to start off with. The spinach dip was delicious. The queso didn’t have me well impressed... but the tenders with honey mustard were good. I ordered the Monte Christi with the broccoli casserole. It was good. The brócoli casserole was good too. My wife enjoyed her creamy pot pie. They were very generous with the chicken shreds inside. 10/10 would be back.

UPDATE: My wife and I decided to revisit, mere weeks after our first time there. This time, we took the kids, who loved the cheese fries. However, I wish I had more good to say after that...the service was terrible. We were seated and had to wait forever before our waitress got to the table. (Understand that they weren't that busy) As they do, the delicious butter croissants came out and were more or less flung on the table as a waitress tossed them onto the table in what I can only call a walk by serving... Out appetizer arrived before we ever got drinks, and when they brought out my wife's salad, the plate it was on was fresh out of the washer and hot. The lettuce already browning from the heat of the plate. My wife asked her if she hated us, abd the server literally smilled and shook her head yes and said yes...my wife the says, "Okay, so you do hate us", to which the waitress was like, no, no, of course not...obviously not caring enough to actually listen to what we were saying initially. We decided to ask cancel our order and pay for the drinks and appetizer and the waitress literally asked if we going to leave without paying...we pointed out that we were going to pay for what we had received and that we were canceling the meals and leaving because it was ridiculous. We asked for the manager as our server obviously didn't want to even listen from tge get go. She said okay, but I had to go get him myself. Long story short...we won't be back to this location...

My wife and I always talked about going and finally did. OH MY GOD!!! The food was really good. Perfectly portioned and fresh!!! Our waitress was on top of everything!!!! Definitely recommend this place, and we definitely will be back soon. Oh, and the cost is surprisingly affordable... We spent as much here for two of us as we would have on fast food somewhere, and the food is so much...

My daughter chose this place to surprise me for my Mother's day dinner. We were very disappointed Let start with the floors they were absolutely filthy. Our waiter got there maybe 5 minutes later he asked what would we like to drink I ordered a painkiller and my daughter & son-in-law ordered a Dr pepper he was very fast with their drinks and told me your drink will be out in just a moment I assumed "JUST A MOMENT" meant 5min or so well around 15min pass and yet I still haven't received my drink at this point I'm really upset for the fact I still haven't received it as I really wanted to enjoy my 1 drink before my dinner so I get our waiters attention and ask what is taking so long with my drink as he replies with "Oh it be out in just a moment" To my surprise it takes about another 15min to 20min to receive my painkiller on my tablet undressed so he placed it down and walked away I get his attention once again and I ask our waiter where's the pineapple and cherry that comes with my drink he says "Oh WE DON'T HAVE ANY". and walked away. at this point it's been around 35min to 40min until I got my drink and now it was maybe 2min later and here comes our food now I don't get to enjoy my drink and it's time for us to eat I got steak & coconut shrimp, my son-in-law got steak & Ribs & my daughter also got steak. Well once again I'm disappointed actually we were all disappointed in the food with His food the steak was really dry and tough he also got broccoli and cheese that he said that tasted horrible. My daughter's steak she ordered it medium rare and got well done so needless to say all of our steaks were horrible they were all way too dry & tough.

Needless to say we were highly disappointed with this restaurant we will not be returning and definitely would Not...

My first time there. The hostess didn't seem like she wanted to work. She could of least tell my friend and I hello or follow me, Instead she walks away we waited but then my friend said let's follow her. When she sat us in a booth I wasn't comfortable. I couldn't breathe well, I'm catastrophobic. I ask our waiter if we could move somewhere else. She said hold on let me go check. I didn't see why not, there were plenty of tables and it wasn't busy. The waiter. I didn't get her name, she was very nice and polite. At least I thought she was until we finished eating my friend and I were talking and catching up on old times. The waiter kept asking anything else , we told no thank you. Kept asking us so I told her yes a dessert but when we leave so it can stay cool. I will tell you when. She brought to me and the check .So I took it and pay for our meal. Again she asked anything else and we told yes ok bring us some water with lemons. When she brought it the lemons fell in the table so she brought more . She gave our water to go. Then that's when we felt like if she wanted us to leave. That's the impression we got. Yes we were there for about fours hours. We didn't realize it but when your talking about old times and talking away . One dozen realize how long they be there... All i ask if someone goes eat and takes a long time there and be there for a long times means there not ready to leave. Yes we would go back and Yes we would recommend this place. The was great. Thank you, I thought I had to...
