It has been years since me and my wife have been Patrons of Hooters and I now now know why. Them menu has changed some for good and some for the worst sangria was one of our favorites which is no longer available and the fried pickles no longer come with the “signature sauce” and it is just ranch dressing. Those things aside I must say our waitress Passion was very attentive and was top notch for what she could provide. Our issue with management blatantly lying to our faces as if we were idiots. The everyday all day special of $4 drafts was advertised but the location had ran out. This in my opinion is an establishment issue not a customer issue and the Manager insisted there is nothing he could do about it. Paying more than $4 beer is definitely not going to break the bank for me but it was the principle in the matter that there was no attempt in trying to make right on your lack of preparation. Definitely tipped the waitress more than the typical 20% that we usually do because it was to no fault of hers but delivery and just compensation for lack of preparation would be great. Or just be upfront with customers upon arrival as that will set expectations early. I worked in customer service for decades and there is always something that can be done even if it is a simple coupon for your next visit to...
Read moreMan this place has gone downhill. Multiple bad experiences with service when dining in with my family.
Oil was old on one occasion, each of the others we encountered horrendously long waits for our food, and poor service.
Men, if you are coming with your wife or a family expect to be ignored. Drinks are rarely refilled.
We keep giving this place chance after chance because we love their traditional wings. It’s one of the only places that still offers breaded bone in.
After many bad experiences dining in we figure from now on we will just order pickup and bring the food home. How can they mess that up right?
Oh how wrong we were.
Wife was treated rudely by hostesses when she came in to pick up food.
We got home, and my wife’s order which was boneless mild sauced wings and fries was not even close.
They charged us for the fries but didn’t give them to us. Her boneless wings had no sauce on them, and looked like bottom of the barrel popcorn chicken.
When we called and asked to speak to a manager, he said if we came back he would fix it.
We live across town, but nevertheless we came back. He fixed her wings, but still forgot her fries. Didn’t comp us for anything at all.
It’s now clear that from top to bottom this place is managed poorly. Corporate really needs to get in here and...
Read moreDoes not meet franchise standards in my opinion.
Ordered for pick up and even showed up an additional 10 minutes after the estimated 30 minute prep time but my order took an additional 20 minutes to make it to the pickup counter. All worth it for hot food, except all of the hot food was just the opposite.
Now, I suspect the wings and fries were sitting the entire time cooling off near a fan whilst the entire kitchen staff got together to remember how to make a salad. Yea, I know, but to be fair our bar was pretty low for the salad. You just don't go to Hooters for the salad, BUT what we found was that the waitress with the smallest hands must have been asked to place a light handful of chopped iceberg lettuce into a very large takeout container after which the cooks could top it with stale croutons and none of the other toppings we ordered.
Wings were done well enough for crispy skin but my hot garlic rub appears to have been the result of one shake of seasoning into a nitrile glove and hastily acquainted with my wings via a ninja smoke style throw from a ten foot ladder. Not much made it to the wings.
Sorry guys, I don't normally give criticism like this but this experience was just too comical. We may give ya a shot...
