If I could give zero stars on this review, I most certainly would. This happens to be my second bad experience at this location within my past three visits. My last review which was actually a 2 star rating failed to garner a response from management. Since it mainly involved the poor unprofessional, disrespectful conduct of my server Rodolfo, I was hoping that the management team would at least responded to my concerns and addressed the issues. Sadly that never happened. On to my most recent visit. Today's visit to IHOP actually began well enough. There was actually a young lady at the hostess desk who promptly seated me avoiding the usual wait for someone to wander past. Once seat it was a short wait until my server arrived to take my drink order. Upon receiving my beverages and placing my food order everything seemed fine. My food was delivered in a timely manner and I proceeded to have my meal. My order, the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, was truthfully less than expected. The eggs and hash browns were prepared as ordered and well enough. The country gravy on the steak appeared to be watered down. The steak also had a slight fishy flavor which made me think that either the same oil/fryer was used for fish or that the oil was old and needed to be changed. The pancakes, while appearing to be properly cooked were still doughy in the middle, not fluffy and well cooked. My major issue arose when I went to the restroom. In which the urinal was not working properly and covered with a plastic garbage bag. Upon returning to my table, I noticed that my plates had been moved from their location and my flatware was now atop my plate and remaining food. Not where I had left them, placed neatly on a napkin next to my plate. When I questioned my server about this she stepped away from the table for a few minutes and returned telling me that my food had been thrown away by the busser then replaced on the table, but the manager was willing to make another order. I requested my check, which hadn't been left yet and when it was given to me showed a full price being charged. Even after I was told that my food had been thrown away then replaced on my table. The fact that the management left the server in the middle of the situation is more than a little concerning since the server was obviously new, she didn't even have a name tag. Read moreI wish I had pictures. I Came in Christmas Day with my wife and daughter. We were sat right away. Waitress comes by after several minutes of us patiently waiting. We all point out what we want to eat and then I ask if she could please wipe down the table. There was a sticky spot and creamer that wasn't cleaned off properly. Patiently waiting for a good period of time my wife waves her over and asks her again that the table has not been cleaned off and that when she comes back to also bring some napkins. Never happened! Waitress comes back with the food and then I ask her about wiping down the table she makes a face like she forgot and takes off. I noticed the meal I ordered is incorrect and poorly made. I had to flag my waitress down to explain that what I ordered was incorrect only to get an attitude about it as if it was my fault. I told her I did not want the meal it was not what I had ordered. She asked what I wanted and I responded with i'm not sure can I look at the menu. The waitress brings me the menu takes off and she never comes back to ask about my order. By this time i'm upset and so is my wife about our service. There was a party of 6 or 8 that sat next to us. Our waitress show's up to take their order. I was completely ignored while im patiently waiting to get some service. By this time my wife has had it her meal is ruined as well. When the waitress returns she tells me your order is free your not going to be charged. I snapped back and told her there is no reason for me to get charged for a meal I didn't eat. My wife and daughters meal was also ruined by the situation. Our waitress was very unprofessional. If you don't like customer service type jobs do something else. Read moreWe have been coming to this location for years and have met many wonderful persons employed here. We thouroghly enjoy the food at this location, especially all the fun and different breakfasts that are offered. We know that from the moment we enter the restaurant that we will be greeted with a smile by a cheerful and courteous wait staff. Today after a lengthy morning commute to Northampton,TX from Deer Park for business, We decided to wait to eat until we were on this side of Houston. I am a diabetic and by the time we had drove up to IHOP my sugar had dropped to 74 so eating was mandatory at this point for health reasons. My husband and I were seated quickly by Giovana and saw Rudy and shared our hellos. We ordered coffee which was brought out and within 10 - 15 minutes we were served a Colorado Omelet and a Combo breakfast with pancakes, toast and fruit all perfectly ordered. I asked for Giovana to please relay to the cooks how very much appreciated and how very tasty our meals were and let her know that we highly value everyone in this establishment because they are all hard working people. Without fail we are always greeted by warm and friendly faces. For all those at this IHOP location I have shared with them that one day in heaven I will serve them myself.
