Taqueria Los Güeros — Restaurant in Paterson

If i could give this place no stars i would, the location in Passaic is awesome although it's always busy. This Paterson location is terrible dirty, the employees are rude. Today 1/19/2017 we decided to get lunch from los gueros on my recommendations since i go to the one in Passaic all the time and there's no problems ( im embarrassed to say it was my idea) . We made sure to order ahead since it was on our LUNCH BREAK. When we placed our order the counter clerk said that our food would be ready in 10 mins, i got there 20 mins later, the food was not ready. She tells me to wait 5 mins so i go to my car ( no parking on Main Ave) come back 10 mins later and the food was still not ready. The clerk tells me to wait an additional 10mins so i reply why would you say to come in 10 mins if our food isn't going to be ready. In that moment the cook gets upset and starts saying to not rush him in Spanish. I speak Spanish myself and asked why tell me to come in 10 min if the food will not be ready. The lady then denied she said to come in 10 mins and replied that she said 15 mins. Regardless, i got there in 20 mins, had to wait an additional 10 mins and now another 10 mins, despite me ordering ahead. Do the math, 20+10+10= 40 mins plus travel time back to work, there goes my lunch break!! But wait!!!! That's not the end of it. When i finally get to my job, I opened my order and they decided to give me what they wanted. I ordered Tacos gringo de pollo they decided to give me beef since it was already on the grill. They were rude, they didn't apologize, they were talking not knowing i would hear and understand. The place looked dirty and nothing compared to the other los gueros. If i were Los Gueros I would shut this location down, it gives them a bad name. Further more, this was the first impression my co-workers (that live in Bergen county $$$) had of Los Gueros. Needless to say, they will never visit a Los Gueros ever again and you guys just lost a whole other market of consumers that are not the typical Hispanic from the area that...

I wrote a review two years ago and the service is STILL terrible . I been trying to give local business a chance especially during the pandemic but this will be the last time ever I’m giving u guys business . I order the special chicken tacos and when I received it it has no onions or cilantro .. I called and they said no refund or Anything . The girl looked young and probably not in charge but the fact that I gave u guys chances and still can get a simple taco special right is ridiculous. How did u expect to give someone tacos with no anything and expect us to be satisfied and when I call there is no refunds and didn’t offer a new batch of tacos and the cook knew and couldn’t warn us about the onions or anything . Everyone do not get your tacos here is not worth it all . I gave this place multiple times I’m Done . DONT...

I love their Mexican food and I have ordered from different locations, especially the one in Edgewater since I work around there. But I have to give this location a one star. Customer service is the worst. Today was my second time trying to order & the girl who answers the phone is so rude, she makes you feel like she doesn’t want you to order. The first thing she asked me over the phone was “ do you live in Paterson?” When I replied yes she Says “delivery would take more than 2 3 hours” I asked her why and wouldn’t give me an answer. I would never attempt to order again from here and would never eat from Taqueria los Guerros just because of this. Loved the other location but I won’t spend not one more dime just because of these past experience. Fix your customer...
