09/26/2022 Update to current visit
Grabbed a late lunch to take home to my boys. Had two chalupas, the breading part wasnāt warm and tasted stale. Been awhile since Iāve had one so this just might be how they are now? The biggest issue we had was our burritos. We had a total of nine burritos. Three which were different from the other six bean and cheese burritos. Every single one of them were wrapped exactly the same. Letās just say someone ate someone elseās food because they thought they had the right one. Yāalls wrappers are designed to specify what is what, along with stickers. This would have been nice considering how many burritos we had. This just takes effort which apparently wasnāt even given.
04/03/22 Just wanted to give a shout out to the two employees working Taco Bell in Pauls valley tonight 4/3/22. Even though our order wasnāt 100% with being as busy as they were and short staff. Chantry whom I believe was the young man running drive window tonight. He never rushed me with my order which wasnāt a small one. He was courteous, efficient, and informative that due to our order being on the larger size that it would take a little longer. He had great customer service at the window and even when they missed a couple items. He was quick and efficient about getting it corrected. We appreciate yāallās hard work and effort in giving us a great experience with ordering with Taco Bell. Yāall did an awesome job under pressure and short on staff with a long line of cars coming through. RUN away from it! I should have known to go elsewhere when the only other people in the place were waiting to get their refunds. I ordered a $40 family meal and took a seat in the dining area. Over the next 18 minutes I watched the other customers put in their complaints, and a worker making the food decided to get lippy with one customer because the customer pointed out that the employee did nothing but play on his phone the entire 26 minutes she waited on her ONE CHALUPA! The rest of the workers (four of them) was huddled around the register with their arms folded, just listening. No one is making my order, apparently. All phone guy is doing is walking slow laps around the kitchen.
After the 18 minutes are up I'm told it'll be another 8 minutes for the biscuits to ready. Are you kidding me? Maybe some biscuits would have been ready if ANY of the employees were there to actually work! When I said I didn't have half an hour to wait and wanted a refund, the cashier decided to get smart and say "it's only been 10 minutes." Uhh no, according to the time printed on my receipt, I've been waiting 18 minutes, and was just told it would be another 8. That's 26 minutes, or basically HALF AN HOUR!
It's painfully obvious that this restaurant is poorly managed based on this and most other reviews. The fact that the dining room was filthy and the employees attitudes towards the customers should tell anyone that this place should be avoided at all costs. No telling what ends up in the food (if you ever get it) based on the "don't give two sh*ts" attitude here. Avoid...

The cashier, Alexis, was rude, my order was missing items, and I was overcharged. I called the store to request a refund for the missing items and overcharges, but was told they couldnāt issue a refund without my physical card. I explained that I was already en route to Texas and couldnāt return, but Iād be satisfied with a coupon sent via email or mail. They refused, stating that wasnāt possible. The person on the phone then hung up on me. When I called back, I spoke to the general manager, Shelby, who was equally unhelpful and dismissive. Shelby informed me that since they were a franchise, I couldnāt contact corporate, and when I asked for a simple resolution, she said, "It doesnāt work that way."
Itās frustrating to encounter such poor customer service and management. It's a shame this location treats its customers so poorly. Iām not someone who typically complains, especially since I also work in the restaurant industry, but at this point, itās about the principleāthis experience went beyond just missing items or...
