This was unexceptionally the worst customer service I've had in this entire town. I'm a vegetarian that eats low/no carb. They didn't have any vegetables available for the vegetarian bowl. Didn't even offer me something different. They didn't discount me for having a skimpy beans and rice because I donate usually even the rice. But what choice did I have? They didn't hook me up for compensation on like salsa or guacamole or something. When I brought it up to the kids they just totally ignored me like it's not my problem. You know the new age children that have no respect or consideration or care for others. That's exactly the way I was treated in this place today. Like it doesn't matter to them if I eat or not. And me getting nothing but a small amount of rice and some beans. They didn't even have lettuce available or anything out. Didn't even offer me a 10 or 15% off and then when I brought it up they just ignored me like blew me totally off. I still paid $70 just to feed three people. Because I couldn't eat but at least I fed my kids. They'll eat meat but the problem is is these children treated me like it's not their problem. They don't care one way or another. I don't know which is which bowl. I'm highly allergic to wheat. I told the kid and typically a Chipotle will change their gloves. But like I said it's the I don't care about others generation. There were liquids without caps properly sealed put in the bag dumped out inside the bag and onto the seat of my car. They just put my food in with the bag of tortillas. I don't even feel comfortable with eating this bowl that didn't have what I wanted and was charged $70. It's really the attitudes that's more of the issue. This new age children. I swear that's why they say this world's going to come to an end. Is this new generation. It gets getting...
Read moreDear Chipotle Customer Service,
I am writing to express my concern regarding an upsetting experience my family and I had during a visit to your Payson location. As a loyal Chipotle customer, I was excited to see a store in Payson, but this experience left me disappointed and unsettled.
My wife, our 10-month-old son, and I were on a family trip and decided to stop at your store. At first, everything seemed fine. My wife ordered a burrito, and when asked by an older blonde-haired employee if it was for here or to go, she responded politely with “to go.” However, I noticed the employee rolled her eyes, which came across as rude.
When I asked why she had done that, rather than addressing the question calmly, the employee looked at my wife and said, “Don’t be rude.” This response shocked both of us. She then slammed the burrito onto the counter, escalating the situation unnecessarily.
To avoid further confrontation, I decided not to order and prepared to leave. But as we were leaving, the employee mocked us and sarcastically said, “Have a great New Year!” in a loud and antagonizing tone.
While I can’t say for certain what motivated her behavior, it certainly felt personal and unprovoked. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially when we were simply enjoying a family outing. Instead of leaving happy, we were left upset and uncomfortable.
I’m sharing this in the hope that steps will be taken to ensure that all customers feel welcomed and respected at your locations. I trust Chipotle’s commitment to excellent service and believe that this experience does not reflect the values of your company.
Please feel free to reach out to me if further...
Read moreWow. That was the worst service I have had at a chipotle. They ran out of several of their protein options 30 minutes into lunch. Asked for chicken, and they said it would be 10 minutes. When I said, “10 minutes?”, they replied very passive aggressively “we can’t serve raw chicken. I said I would wait, and paid for the bowl along with the rest of our food. After about 10 minutes I went back to the food line to find they had more chicken and had been serving it. I snuck into the front of the line and this time they were out of rice and it would be 30 minutes for more. I said fine and got an alternative. I asked the cashier if there was anything they could do to refund part of my bowl as I never actually got what I was asking for, and they said no. The staff was rude to me and my wife from the first interaction onward and only became more hostile as they did not have basic food ready. To be fair, how would they have known people would want to buy food from...
