This was our second time eating here. The waitress didn’t introduce herself nor did she greet us. She seemed preoccupied by the other table and her male coworker. As she was taking our appetizer order she walked away while I was in mid-sentence. My husband had to walk over to her and let her know we weren’t finished ordering. She didn’t even apologize or acknowledge her mistake. She seemed irritated he bothered her. Okay, maybe she was nervous, nope. We had to force her to take our meal order. Never once did she ask are we ready to order. We then get our 1st appetizer, no napkins or plates. We begin eating (just some loaded nachos). As our last appetizer arrives she then brings plates, top plate was dirty. We are in closing time with the appetizers, still a bit here and there. Well, without saying “are you finished or can or take these out of your way” she rushed away our appetizer plates, all the while my husband was looking up at the tv. She quickly whisked his plate away with an uneaten wing siting at the center, clear as day. He clearly wasn’t finished eating. He looked down and before he can stop her she was long gone. While taking our meal orders never once did she ask how we wanted our burgers cooked and if we wanted anything on them. I overheard another waitresses asking these exact questions to other patrons nearby. Meal comes and it was not very good. BBQ pulled pork was soggy and bitter sweet (not a good combo). No one finished their food needless to say. No tip, sorry, the service was not good. She was clearly not interested in our table since we did hear her ask other diners plenty of questions and was very attentive to them as well. My husband was very upset and felt out of place. Especially since he was the only non-white person in the building. She made it obvious she wasn’t fond of us, never made eye contact with my husband. I would say if you want mediocre to blah food with a glass of water, go for it. If you want a good burger...keep looking. I would have rather eaten at Wendy’s and...
Read moreWe had hoped that the food had gotten better since they moved... nope. If anything, it's worse. My husband and I both ordered the clod hopper (bbq +cheese) burger. I had spuds, aka fries and my husband had sweeties, sweet potatoes. First the burger, DRIPPING grease and no taste. The best part of the burger was the pickle. My fries were nothing to write home about. They were greasy. The sweeties were completely burned. We're not talking over cooked. We are talking black and they were all turned over so you couldn't see the black. Our server came over when the food first showed up and said, "Everything good. Okay." as she walked away. She never showed back up until it was time to leave. When she did show up, she said she would get our bill and I explained that the sweeties were burned and that my husband couldn't even eat them. She walked away and when she came back, awhile later, she said she took them off the bill. That was nice of her to do that since my husband didn't feel like picking through them to see if he could maybe eat something from them.
The prices have gone up considerably. Our combo burgers; burger, fries and drink were $8(burger) and another $5.29 for the drink and fries I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where they charge $8 for a baked potato with butter and sour cream. I don't care if it does say jumbo... no potato is worth it. I
It was so loud that you couldn't hear anyone at your table. They had music trivia tonight, but you couldn't understand what the guy was saying. We like sitting at tables, not booths and they got rid of all their small tables.
We would have gotten better burger if we had gone to McDonald's. Very disappointing. We will not...
Read moreWaited quite a while after being seated before anyone came to ask for a drink order. After giving him our order, our actual server J came over to ask us if we wanted drinks. Stated we had already given them and she walked away without getting our entree order. On the few times J stopped by afterwards, she would ask if we wanted anything when having already walked half way by the table. Finished our chips and quacamole app and Waited more than 30 mins for a burger, chicken wrap, kids chicken fingers, and hot dog. In that time, the one time J came by to refill drinks, she pointed out that I had a bottle cap in my cup when she brought it back from refilling and asked if that had been there before(I imagine it must have been and I didn’t notice that I was drinking iced tea with a random bottle cap floating in it since she didn’t get a new cup for me when she refilled. Burger was amazingly bland- especially considering it had onions and thousand island dressing it was like they had to try extra hard to remove any flavor. The manager brought kids the cookies that came with their meal because we hadn’t seen our server since the food was first brought to the table...also had to ask her for the check since we had been there for almost two hours. Finally got the check and saw our server faster than we had the whole meal to drop off the check and run our card. might have asked for the iced tea that had someone’s trash in it taken off the bill, but didn’t want to wait another hour. Next time we want a burger, we’ll bite the bullet and take the extra drive down the road to...
