The food here is so so good. Very few places do hash browns/home fries/potatoes right (imo) but the ones here were amazing. Flavor just bursts in your mouth with each one. Hubs got the pancake tacos with chorizo which he said were good though next time he'll stick to traditional tias since the pancakes made him too full. Great flavor though! I had the GA peach waffle combo and omg it was amazing. I normally add a ton of butter to my waffles as they tend to be dry and I don't use syrup as I find it too sweet, so imagine my surprise when this waffle was Goldilocks style just right. I didn't need to add anything to this baby and it just melted in my mouth. Wasn't too sweet and the peaches (which I assume are frozen like most places) were somehow actually warm inside while not being overly smooshie. Most frozen fruit tends to get soggy when warmed or still be coldish so idk how they did this but we will definitely be coming to try more menu items. The chicken sausage were fantastic, wouldn't even know they were chicken without being told. I'm not a super egg person and even the eggs were good. We went around 1pm on a Wednesday so it was pretty quiet. Nice atmosphere and great service but haven't seen it on a busy day or different staff. We will definitely come back for more!

Me and my two girlfriends went to the spot on a Saturday afternoon because we were starving. We were out shopping but we had to stop and eat and thought about this place. I have been in Atlanta 16 years I had never been to Flying Biscuit although I knew about it. It was busy as I expected it to be which made me believe that the food was good. We had to wait for a table but that was fine we went over to Dollar tree across the parking lot and shopped. They actually paged us before the time frame that they gave us. We sat down immediately had mimosas. So good. The food took a minute to come out but when it did, we smashed it! I had bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, stuffed French toast and a biscuit. The potatoes and the grits oh my word. The grits were so creamy and not lumpy. It's hard to find a restaurant that can make good grits. We were so full afterwards. This was a hit for me.

Been coming here a long time. Last few visits have been disappointing for various reasons so I'm going to leave this review in hopes that management will consider making some changes to make this the 5 star it used to be. Saturday morning visit, no wait, sit right down and order fairly quickly. Got the high flyer with a gravy cup on the side and coffee. Food comes out promptly. So far, so good. Server who brought food not the same who took order and asked if I needed anything else. I said some syrup for the waffle would be nice. She brought it right away. I put butter on the waffle right away in order for it to melt and started into the eggs and sausage. Unfortunately the chicken sage patties were dry and overcooked (just like last time). The biscuit was also kinda hard and not so fresh tasting but I planned to drench it with the sausage gravy so that would be ok I suppose. I noticed the butter not melting on the waffle and found it to be more or less at room temperature. I thought well maybe the syrup would help. The syrup container was chilly (almost cold, like it had been in a refrigerator) so that wasn't going work. Figured I could salvage this by asking for some hot syrup. Unfortunately no one, not the original server or anyone else stopped to see if the food was ok. (It was early, plenty of open seats and not busy yet). Sigh. The grits and gravy were good as always but most of the rest was a let down. So I'm ready for a box to take it to my puppy and my server comes over and says "so, you still doing ok?" I'm thinking, no, actually, you never checked on me and for a $25 breakfast I'm not happy at all, but was ready to pay and get on with my day. Most of the time we have really great service so maybe she was just having a...

The best thing about this place was that we got seated right away although it was the weekend before Valentine’s Day. Oh yeah the Coke was really good too. The booth was dirty in the corners and it look like they hadn’t cleaned it for ages. The staff were nice but not overly friendly but definitely not rude. I got the turkey hash which was a very bland shredded turkey over potatoes. It reminded me of cat food. I took two bites and left it, I wouldn’t even bring it home for my dog, No seasoning no onions no garlic some of my potatoes were soggy and some of them were fried to a crisp. It says that they are known for their grits but mine were rocksolid hard barely warm and I couldn’t taste any cheese in it at all. I could’ve forgiven everything else if my grits were at least subpar. We order the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and halfway through the meal we hadn’t received it yet so we just canceled it all together, which I’m glad we did as the rest of the food was a good indication of how more things to come would be. The biscuit was super doughy but I guess some people like that kind of thing. The homemade jam wasn’t really my thing either. Just my opinion, I guess a lot of people like this place. So try it for yourself? Side note my kid loved the chocolate pancakes…kinda hard to mess up and my husband said his...

Hair in my food,The worst day ever, me and my wife had.. when I order at a restaurant for the first time I go for the works ... I order everything ... but this day the waitress felt irritated... with me and my wife and child. She was walking off in the middle of my order ... I had to keep calling her back ... as if I was doing a add on ... but they made sure they fix the table for which they believe they was going to have a 20 people seating .. which never showed up ...at first it felt like race's was in the air and one way u can look at it like my money didn't matter or maybe I look like I wasn't going to tip ... but the service was poor ... but the worst part was I had hair in my food. as I'm eating I notice a blonde hair in my biscuit as I'm biting it.. I stop one of the waitress. who look at me like I had, the cooties to tell her my food had hair in it. she sent some guy ... who I assume was the manger .. I don't know cause I was taken back with him coming over saying what would you like me to do ,as he held the plate in his hand ..as they don't waste food there eat up .... as if i was just going to finish eating the food as hair comes with every meal there ... please use caution cause they don't where hair nets.. and dress to impress cause that's how you get treat better .. early in...
