[Service]: My favorite servers that take care of me on each visit would have to be Funto and Diana/DP. They make each visit enjoyable.
[Food Highlights]:
Mainly food and drinks available during the Fall / winter 2016 menu.
Crispy Tiger Sprouts - The last variation was even more pleasing to my palate. A bit more savory and hint of sweetness due to whatever good changes the chefs made. I feel that I've been spoiled by Ba Bellies on their version, because I'm expecting the same great taste of brussels sprouts at other joints. And it's a big nope.
Salmon rillete - A choice for sharing. If you're willing to after the first bite. The smokey taste carries from front to end. There's more dip than there are chips, so don't hold back by piling a big spoonful. Not that you wouldn't want to anyway.
Fish sauce caramel wings - A big seller, because almost every table around us orders it and you can smell the pungy fish sauce. BUT, the taste is anything but that. Nearing foodgasm. If you want the full on flavor, they can even make it spicy upon request or tell them not to hold back. A must order every time.
BB pork baos - Not the regular baos you grew up with. These are the more crispy, slight sweet version. Maybe because it's different done right, but it's hard to go back to regular bao's unless the fillings are phenomenal. Two per order and always worth a try if you're bringing a newbie here.
The Ocho - Another favorite, sometimes sold out. This version is cooked a little more so that it's a bit tender compared to being under cooked and chewy. The purist might be put off who usually order octopus, but me likey.
Honey Butter Potato Chips - Lays doesn't have anything to compete with this. But if you don't favor sweetness like I do, it might not appeal to you.
Notorious P.I.G. - Pork shoulder so tender and well prepared. Its a dish that you can't go wrong with, unless religion comes into play. But I think I'll deal with sinning for dinner and asking forgiveness the next day for a plate of this.
Chicken and Waffles - BB's is served with chicken tenders, just fyi if you were thinking chicken breast and a wing. The waffle is more belgian style, crispy exterior, soft inner. Slathered with the hint of citrus orange honey butter and dip into syrup just makes all the tones of flavor juggle on your taste buds.
Bacon Fried Rice 2.0 - OMG, the smoky taste on each bite. It's just something you have to experience. I feel bad for anyone that can't eat pork. I'll pray for you on each bite though. Adding the secret menu item of a fried egg on top with the yolk still runny, I'm in heaven.
Brown Sugar and Chili Salmon - One of my favorites. I normally move the jam to the side as the salmon is great without it. My suggestions is to spread and thin it out, just enough to taste it each bite, but not too much to overpower it. Each time I've had it, the salmon is cooked perfect. Juicy and flakey.
24 hour short rib - After one yelper influenced me on what braised meats taste like, I now prefer that option off the menu if it's available. This is a dish where you take a bite with the chimichurri and the puree all in one and just let all the flavors mingle. Must order.
Lychee moscow mule - Very light, hint of sweetness. Most women prefer this drink even after they order their usual. To the point where they ask if they can just trade their drink for mine. Gee... thanks.
Lemon, coconut milk ice cream - for the lactose intolerant, but very tasty even if you are lucky like me to not be. The preferred option if you have to share with those types.
Vietnamese coffee ice cream - Strong, bold flavors of Viet coffee turned into an ice cream. Coffee lovers rejoice, but you'll be hating yourself that you can't go to sleep right away after dinner.
Sea Salt caramel budino - So flavorful that I really don't want to share it. But as a great as it is, it's really a serving size for two. I just take that suggestion with a "challenge...

.... I got to respond 🙃😀🤓 -K - 1-2-1-2 gooo... You definitely got it beyond wrong NEVER ASK FOR MORE MEAT - once of approximately 6 -7 dozen times I've ordered the Beef Stew, I asked what happened bcz there was barely no meat in that Stew - Gent handled it!!! Next: Leaving no tip lol & yaaawn to that!!! Paid several times very high tip amounts; brought plenty of Special guests who paid the highest amounts in tips - FACTS!!! On top I referred you dozens of new customers - plus no need to mention - but I will - my table never needed to be cleaned every single time because I did and many times even placed ALL dishes utensils on cleaning tray, including wiping off the Siracha Hoison Sauce Containers, which most of the time not even your staff is doing!!!! Just straight UNGRATEFUL!!!!
One star reviews at most Vietnamese places??? - whoooa there ...sound like someone insinuating something more sinister here lol - AGAIN you wrong go figure ... BTW I ate in Atlanta alone at possibly 20 - 30 different Pho places - I bring lots of business with my honest sincere and VERY legit reviews ...go kick rocks super have a field day with it - btw why dnt you go clean your restrooms for a change they are an insult to us guests dining in this place!!!
Oooh you want to sell this place the Staff confided in me - You should be ashamed of yourself - lies lies you have ZERO MERIT zeeero!!!!
...and regarding Military discount I asked - of course, served this World & Nation - but to no avail - your restaurant doesn't honor Veterans of the 🇺🇲 U.S. Military, even though you making money in their Country the United States of America!!! Let that sink in!!!!!
The WORST - it went from a 5 Star to a minus 5 Zero's - unacceptable Owner try to super skimp on the good quality he had going from his former Chef - replaced lots with more tasteless rice noodles - Oh well plenty of Pho places to choose from. How lame and low can you go!!! This Owner has proven he ain't deserving of anymore accolades, which basically his Staff has created thus earned!!!! Now fluuuuuff off Greedy...

The place is cute. Interior is clean and a mix- fusion style. Perhaps that was the concept. To go with their food.
Server is the bartender and there’s a hostess. Maybe it was because it was a weeknight they were expecting a slow night. Don’t get me wrong the service was good when able to come to the table. Just the only server and being a bartender was probably a bit doing too much.
Food. Hmm what can I say. Personally- for me. When the word “Fusion” is applied... It’s always a mixed “Fusion” experience for me. Questionable was what my tastebuds were sending to me.
Price wise all dishes from what I saw was under $20 so it was reasonable.
Portion was just enough - as expected with the pricing.
We ordered
Mac & Cheese of the moment? I believe. I’ll have you go try it and what makes it the moment.
Tom Yum Fried Rice w/ Shrimp Very bland. We ended up sending it back. They were kind enough to take it back and not charge for it.
BB Deviled Eggs It was bland but I loved the hint of curry. It was different. Enjoyed that twist.
Siracha Pork Tenderloin Ah. This. Was safe. A pork tenderloin with hint of siracha. But the Edamame purée.... hmmmmm the texture and visual was a bit disturbing 😂
Fish sauce caramel wings This was good. Sweet and a little tangy. You smelled the Fish sauce for sure. But this is for those that like and know fish sauce.
Pho Sandwich w/ Side of pho broth This was Yummy. A clean banh mi sandwich. Although the broth was very lime-y/tart the sandwich itself was the best. Clean and fresh.
Shaking Beef “Bo luc lac” Basically a soup and salad in a bowl. The sauce was super sweet and drowned the watercrest. And then you got some beef in the middle. Saucy sweet steak salad is what I got from this dish.
But this is just my personal review. The atmosphere is cute. Food is ok. Service was good when able to.
Try for yourselves if in a...
