First off, I’m a US Army veteran, Quartermaster 92G(Food Service Specialist). I’ve been in food service my entire work career as it is my passion. I own a catering company, restaurant consulting company and I am an IT specialist for one of the largest food brand management companies in the US. I’ve lived in Peachtree Corners for 10 years, and believe in supporting all businesses especially small business. It actually pains me that I have share two substandard experiences at this location both with the same manager (Yoshi).
The first experience, my wife called in an ordered food for us both, two orders of fish tacos one fried and one grilled. Yoshi took down the other wrong he did not read the order back and when I arrived to pick up my food the price was double what I expected to pay. When I asked for an explanation Yoshi explained that my wife ordered the food wrong and that she should have ordered in a way that would have not resulted in his errors. I didn’t go back and forth with him as his attitude and disposition was very arrogant and dismissive.
My next poor experience with Yoshi was two months later, I moved to John’s Creek since then and started visiting the John’s Creek location with which we are very pleased. As a matter of fact we only ordered from the Peachtree Corners location because it’s on the way home and is open an hour later. We ordered the same thing every time, 20 wings and two orders of fish tacos. When we got home the wings and fries were great the tacos not so much. My wife called the store twice but no one answered as they were closed. I called the next day and spoke with Yoshi and explained we were not pleased with the tacos we were served. Yoshi asked that I bring the tacos back to the restaurant and he would remake our order. When I arrived at the location Yoshi looked at the tacos, threw them away and explained that we should have brought them back the same night. I explained why we didn’t the location was closed. He then stated in an arrogant tone that basically the issue was not the poor food and service but something that we haven’t done right to cause this experience. I said nothing else, tipped the hostess Stephanie who was pleasant btw as was Chloe at the bar. And when I arrived at home with the new order of tacos they were as bad as the first order.
I’m not a complainer, I love food and I love food service. The people that work in these types of jobs work really hard, there is no excuse to be a poor manager, if he doesn’t have the requisite people skills to adequately service the guest then he should probably just work in the kitchen and don’t work there at all. I will not be visiting this location again, however I will continue to frequent the John’s creek location were the service has been...
Read moreI'm completely disgusted and disappointed with the bartender on lunch shift right now. So much that I am writing this review while I am still sitting in the establishment. Upon arriving a coworker and I attempted to sit at the bar, as we do 2-3 times a week. We work in the area with local filming crews, and we come in here with small-large parties on the regular. Other staff has been decent, but this particular bartender has a very funny attitude every time, and it comes off as racist. She doesn't communicate or address us as she does other guests of different race, and she is not as attentive, or in no rush to greet or serve us like we see her engage with other guest. Today we came and had to sit at a high top due to no seats together at the bar, and no host present at the stand. The bartender saw us sit, but never greeted or addressed us. After sitting 3-4 minutes, another group of gentlemen came and sat down and she greeted them right away. Still never said anything, but went and had words with the host who was back at the stand. The host then came and brought us menus and said that we should have checked in there. However he was not present, and if that were the case the bartender could have told us that, instead of ignoring us. Then to add insult to injury, once we did get a server, after taking our order, the bartender went over and made some type of statement which caused, which caused the server to look back at our table and begin to laugh. We feel completely offended. Between our crew we easily spend $1000 or better weekly with our visits, and it's very unfortunate and uncomfortable to be made to feel this way, or like we're unwanted. I'm...
Read moreInitially I was going to give 4 stars as I have just become a recent customer to Three Dollar Cafe and enjoy the mango Habenaro wings that were recommended by the bartender, however after the blatant lack of empathy and respect for the inconvenience time. I placed an order via door dash online at 2pm. The order was suppose to be ready at 2:23pm. I arrived at 2:41 due to having a client need and stopping to get gas. However from a past experience with ordering and having to wait at this same location for 45 minutes past the time the order said it would be ready I was not rushing. When I got to the place the girl was not at the host stand and when she looked over she came to assist. I told her I was there to pick up an order and she asked how did I order. I said through door dash. She proceeded to look at another decice and say I DIDN'T SEE IT AND I HAVENT PUT IT IN YET. She tells me it will be 10-15 minutes. 1st of all that is unacceptable. When I brought this up to the person who seems to ve the manager on duty. He whole demeanor appeared as id I was aggravating him. He then says there is nothomg he can do about it and I have to contact door dash. Door dash did not, not put my order in when it came up in the system. I he kept saying I can't give you money back or do anything. Which I proceeded to say...im not asking for my money. I needed the problem to be acknowledged and there to be some empathy or can I grab you a drink pr here is a card next time you come in, rhis won't happen again. Have we gotten so caught up in the way the world is experiemcing this pandemic that people lack good customer service and care. THERE ARE PROBABLY A...
