This was my first ever time going to Cici's Pizza. I wanted to try out their $5.99 All You Can Eat Pizza, Pasta and Salad. We walked in right after they opened at 11:00 am. They already had about 8 different pizzas out on the buffet. They were still working on setting up the pasta section but the salad bar was ready to go.
They had a nice variety of pizza including Pepperoni, Buffalo Chicken, Spinach Alfredo, a regular Cheese Pizza, a Hawaiian with Ham and Pineapple, a BBQ Pork Pizza, a Pepperoni and Italian Sausage and a couple of others I am forgetting about. I liked the crust which tended towards thin however the crust underneath on several of the pizzas was flimsy and didn't hold up the slice. Not sure why the inconsistency. Also I found that some of the pizzas had cooled rather quickly while a couple were nice and hot. I'm guessing it has to do with putting the pizzas out a little too soon before opening the doors at 11:00 am. But all of the pizzas I sampled were tasty and I did enjoy them. My personal favorite was the buffalo chicken of which I had 3 slices.
The salad bar was amply supplied with all the usual condiments to create a nice salad. Everything looked fresh and I enjoyed my salad very much.
The pasta section appeared to only have some cork screw pasta available but there was your choice of an alfredo or marinara sauce. I got a small amount of pasta and chose the alfredo sauce which was unfortunately thin with only a minimum of alfredo flavor.
As for the service, nobody addressed us when we came in and other than the cashier who rung us up, no one talked to us at any point while we were there eating despite several employees walking around the restaurant. I have eaten at another Pizza buffet in Atlanta where there is a general sense of cheerfulness and the employees periodically ask how you are doing and if you need anything. This was unfortunately lacking here. Also nobody ever cleared any of our plates during the time we were there. At the "other" pizza buffet I referenced, a used plate does not sit long before being picked up by a smiling employee.
Having said all that it is a $5.99 all you can eat buffet and they move large amounts of pizza quickly so given that I would still recommend it if you are in the area and have a hankering for all you can eat pizza despite a few minor issues I mentioned.

Read moreTo me, Cici's pizza isn't what it used to be. We went here because my mom wanted to go for my daughter extended bday celebration. It was Friday 8/30/24. We got there around 8 pm and it was a good crowd so we tried to find seating. I went to the back where the gaming was, and they had the tables blocked off with a "reserved" sign. I asked about it and was told, "No one can sit there," so we moved back to the front. My mom started getting food for the kids, so they didn't have to keep getting up. I had a diaper I needed to change, but they had the chairs and a sign about the restroom being closed. Then my 4yr old had to use the bathroom, so I went to the cashiers to ask about it, since I did not see anyone else adm I was told " it shouldn't be closed" I explained the sign then was told " oh it is probably being clean". So I asked, " Where do I go with him?" The young lady says, " idk." I then say he will pee in the seat if he has nowhere to go. The young man says, " You can go back there just tell her he has to go." (He seemed more of the problem solver anyway). We went, and no one was in there. The bathrooms were clean, pretty old, and beaten up,but I can smell the bleach. She came in while he was using it to change a bag. She looked annoyed and did not speak. I really did not care. The one who was cleaning the tables was the same way, bland not friendly. I get it, I have worked different restaurant jobs, and everyone wants to leave at a certain time, but when you have paying customers, you still have to treat them with respect. The food was cold and bland. I asked one of the girls about more pasta, and she walked over to see what was left, then rolled her eyes and walked off, then came back and said 7 minutes. Food was better than the service overall, and that is...
Read moreIt's always a horrible experience here, for one reason or another, and it usually has to do with the employees. They don't know how to greet customers when they walk in (they just stare at you until you say something to them), they don't know how to smile (at customers) and they don't know how to say thank you. They can barely choke out "Buffet? Drink?", and that's about it. God forbid you should give them a $10 bill and a quarter for your purchase; they cannot do math in their head and make correct change... they hand you your quarter back and key $10 as payment into the cash register. And good luck trying to get a receipt. They claim the printer's broke but I suspect it's simply out of paper and they don't know how to add more. The manager apparently doesn't care and the staff don't know that it is important to customers paying with a card to get a printed receipt.
The food? You get what you pay for. It's cheap, low-quality junk food. It's... edible. Mostly. But you can stuff your face with it until you puke, so there's not a lot of room to complain. Don't come here with high, or hell, even medium expectations. The salad bar, sadly, is actually the best part of the buffet line; it has all the basics, usually, and only occasionally disappoints. The pizza itself barely rises to the level of elementary school cafeteria food.
These people wouldn't know a good pizza if Papa John himself knocked on their door and...
