Center Court Pizza & Brew - Pearland Parkway — Restaurant in Pearland

Will never go to this location again. We ordered 2 personal pizzas, pizza rolls and Birdie Wrap. The pizzas and the rolls came out. 25 minutes later after those items came out, no Birdie Wrap. I asked our waitress and she said oh a large group ordered ahead of us. I was like how did 3 out of four of our items come out before a wrap and before the large group? She said they only had two cooks. I said it's just a wrap with grilled chicken but two pizzas were made and baked before a wrap?

I asked to speak to a manager, before the manager came, they brought me a breaded chicken sandwich. I told them I ordered the wrap and literally had a conversation with the waitress about the extraordinary time it was taking to make a wrap.

The manager proceeds to tell me that it is the same chicken. I said but it's not a wrap. Then I said the wrap has grilled chicken and the sandwich, based on the menu, would be a breaded dark meat chicken sandwich. I asked are you really telling me they are the same and she said "yes". I was you can't be serious and she responds, "well what would you like me to do?" I said, well for one, maybe offer some kind of discount and apology. She said okay I can take something off and she left.

Waited for another 10 minutes for her to bring my bill so we could pay but she never came back. Went to bar and asked her can we have our bill. And I asked her can you tell me the name of your manager or district manager as I felt she handled the situation very poorly and she tells me there is nobody over her and their is no district manager and that she IS the manager. I said, okay can I have your name and she said no that she doesn't feel comfortable giving her name. So I tried to take a picture of her so I could identify her and she lost it, yelling at the bartender help, he is trying to take a picture of me! The bartender then came while the unidentified manager ran into the kitchen.

The bar tender came over and asked what was going on and i explained what happened with our order and that I felt the manager handled it poorly by first telling me that the grilled chicken in the wrap was the same as the dark meat breaded chicken in the sandwich and then also lied about not having a manager over her or a district manager. The bartender then proceeds to tell me that she is also a manager but just not on duty.

At the end, Sierra the bartender asked what we would like done and I restated that a discount of some sort would be nice and I would like to know who the manager over them was, and guess what, she gave me a name, although the other manager said nobody was above them. So Sierra said we will comp you the sandwich. I said the sandwich that I neither ordered or accepted she said yes.

Sorry for the rant, but this was the worst encounter with a so-called...

We went there for our first time bc it was one of only a few places that is open past 9pm. The atmosphere is very Sports Bar, which looked fun for major sports events. For appetizer we ordered Cheese Dunkers which were really good. I ordered Asian Street Fries and asked for extra jalapenos. The description is as follows from the menu "Gochujang glazed beef w/ diced cucumbers, fresh jalapenos, green onions, & Sriracha drizzle." I can tell you the beef is just ground beef. I asked for extra jalapenos and cannot tell you I got them because they were not sliced like in the picture. However I was definitely charged $1.49 more than the menu price. I did not like like the beef flavor at all. I just moved it out the way and are my $15 fries. My wife ordered the All American Cheeseburger with tots. She took a few bites and then showed me the meat. She asked me what I thought and with the lighting the meat looked cooked medium. She took a few more bites and said "It tastes weird to me." So I tried it and the meat was raw. It was cooked on the outside but definitely not on the inside. We told the waitress and she just said "Oh I'm sorry. Do you want something else?" When my wife said no, the waitress never indicated anything to make it right. (Like, "I'll take it off your check" .. or "I'll discount it.") At point I did eat the tots, bc I was still hungry since I didn't get many fries and didn't eat the "toppings". So, $45 later we learned that this is one place we won't be going back to. I had a gut feeling when we sat down, but we were hungry and wanted to give the place a try....

I absolutely love their carnivore pizza and the dry rub wings. The carnivore pizza is probably my favorite pizza in all of Houston. The reason their getting two stars is the service. It has gone way downhill and I don't know why. They are so slow and the servers barely come to your table. We ordered a medium carnivore and a greek salad just after 5:50 on a Tuesday night; there were 2 or 3 other tables and a handful of people at the bar at the time we ordered. We expected to get our salad before the pizza like they have in the past. We had to ask for them to bring to us ahead of our pizza at about 6:15. We didn't get our pizza until 6:35. Forty minutes for a medium pizza when there is almost no one in there is ridiculous! It would be different if they were busy. They got busier when we got our pizza. We ended up having to ask the bartender for our check. They obviously need more staff to work or need a more efficient system. I'll be going to MOD down the way next time...
