Cosmic Ice Cream Co. — Restaurant in Pearland

I've been hearing so much about Cosmic that I told myself I would try to stop in one day. My friends and I were in the area for dinner and walked over to Cosmic. On a weekday the entire parking lot was filled up by 6 pm, due to other restaurants in the business center. That did not deter us from trying their ice cream.

They had a nice selection to choose from. I wanted to give the Key Lime Pie a shot and tried their sample. This was a winner for me. It wasn't too tart or tangy. It reminded me of the Tumble22 key lime pie they serve. It had the right ratio of pie crust and ice cream. Surprisingly the pie crust was not soggy at all.

The staff was super nice and the shop was clean. I dislike going to an ice cream shop and the seats and tables have dried I ice cream that hasn't...

The ice cream here is quite average, with a limited variety of flavors to choose from. The texture is more watery than creamy, and the flavors themselves are underwhelming.

I tried the Ice Cream Nachos and was really let down. The waffles tasted stale and crumbled easily, lacking the freshness or crispness you'd expect. The chocolate and caramel sauces seemed to be basic store-bought versions, like Hershey's, which didn’t add much to the order.

Overall the experience fell short and disappointing. Even though I live minutes away, I’d prefer not to return...

First time trying it out. The ice cream tastes pretty decent. Flavors we tried were chocolate, chocolate milk and cookies, and ube graham. Overall the ice cream was very tasty and creamy. I was a bit disappointed that the portions weren’t consistent. When I asked if my portion was regular or a kids scoop (because it looked like a kids scoop) since it looked significantly smaller than my sons who had a regular scoop, I was told it was the regular size. Other than that, the prices are decent and quality of flavors was good. Just need to work on serving size...
