Not bad for a neighborhood Japanese Restaurant, service is good and prices reasonable, menu items are good too. Not just the same pretentious sushi rolls like most other restaurants, where they serve it on a big dinner plate and drowned it with spicy mayo or cilantro mayo or some other mayo, but always mayo, give it a fancy name that's more suited as a marvel superhero, spider-dragon-captain-america roll or something. I despise those restaurants. Here I can get a good ole ika maru -grilled squid for $7 and Roasted Garlie Edamame, nothing fancy, but something de facto Japanese traditional dish. Tonight I ordered the smoked ika salad-squid salad, Beef Yukke - a beef tatare seasoned with fermented bean sauce, the Champon - mix fish cake and pork noodle soup, Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Fried Fish Bone. Ika salad has good flavor, button it feels like eating a canned spuid, I like the grill squid better, I have tried Tonkotsu here many times, not as rich as it should be but it is always satisfying. Frist time trying the Chompon, but i don't recommend it. it is just mixed ingredient, veggie with fish cake and pork, the pork meat is not tender and vegetable just didn't bring anything to the soup, what are the slice carrots doing in that soup, I have no idea. Fish bone is the best, as always, it is the BEST complement to sake, believe me. what's better than crunchy potato chips that is meaty, salty, and crackling? nothing!

Our first visit was 2019. My husband and I went specifically for the cooked sushi. We weren't disappointed. For being located in South Florida it's as authentic as we can get but we don't have a lot of GOOD choices (surprisingly). The staff was friendly and service was fast. Try their peach or Apple sake (chilled) it was great!! I was able to make adjustments like light cream cheese so your rolls are customizable. We order The Miami Heat and Deep Fried Bagel Rolls. The Cucumber and Conch was good for an appetizer. If you do not like spicy food don't order it. The fried ice cream was a nice first time surprise but a little too much batter. If you're looking for a full meal with fried rice etc. this is not the place for that. If you have children unless they eat sushi there's really nothing on the menu for them either. The sake I rate a 5 flavor of authentic food I rate a 4 I would've like the salmon on top cooked a little more. I believe our server was Katie who gave great recommendations for our next visit. *Update we’ve made several visits since 2019 it’s now 2021 and we’re still loving this place. Try it you won’t be disappointed. I have tried several more cooked rolls since then. I’ll update if I try the traditional sushi rolls.

I had never tried ramen before, so we came to this restaurant to have some ramen after one of my good friends recommended it to us. We had a very good experience at this restaurant. We were sat down very quickly when we arrived and our waitress also arrived quickly to take our orders and make suggestions. For an appetizer, we ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings which were delicious. As for the main entrees, we had the pork broth ramen and the miso ramen. Both soups were savory and flavorful. All the ingredients seem to work together and really provide a delicious experience. I'm glad I came here to try ramen for the first time, because it was definitely worth the visit. The only thing that we did not particularly enjoy in this visit was a very foul smell that seemed to come from the kitchen area shortly before we left. It lingered on for a few minutes and honestly smelled like rotten fish or something like that. However, definitely do give this restaurant a try if you're in mood for some good Japanese cuisine.

I ordered a California salmon roll and a crunchy spicy salmon roll. The California salmon roll was bland, it didn't taste seasoned at all. The spicy salmon roll was good. It was crunchy and had flavor. The problem I had wasn't even the bland sushi roll, it was the service and the chopsticks. The lady who answered my call, rushed me to take my order and then wasn't polite when I went in to pick up my order. She seemed very overwhelmed and there were only 2 other customers in the store, which were already eating. She charged me 75 cents for a spicy mayo (which other places give it to you for free but it's ok), so I asked if the soy sauce was in the bag already. She said yes but seemed annoyed at the question. Regardless, I was ready to go and eat my sushi. So I grabbed some chopsticks that were on the counter and she said, no no no you have some in the bag and she dug into my bag to show me that they were in there. I thought that was strange for her to dig into the bag that I was holding but I said, ok thank you and left. Well I wish I would have grabbed those extra chopsticks because the ones in the bag smelled like urine and were dirty. Not even kidding! I thought the dirt on them was weird but they looked brand new so I proceeded to use them since I thought maybe its just the wood being a different color or something. BUT when they came close to my nose, I smelled the horrible urine smell so I did not use them anymore. So nasty. This was my first time going here, since I was nearby but I will not go here again. The quality of the sushi is ok, but the service and the chopsticks were not good at all. Try Sushi Sogo or Imasa sushi if you're in Pembroke Pines. They are much tastier and have been customer service. Plus...

Went here on a date during the weekend. When you walk in, the atmosphere is nice and clean. Once you sit down, the server was attentive and very pleasant. We didn’t order anything fancy, just 2 shrimp tempera rolls (the dragon roll here), a California roll. Though it was priced at around 10$, the size was very good! The roll itself was huge, making it worth its cost!! The sushi itself was very good, not the best but definitely above average! We also ordered the Thai donuts which were super light! A hint of oil was in them, but it’s expected. Now... the star of the show.... THIS IS THE BEST WATER IVE EVER HAD IN A RESTAURANT BEFORE!! I don’t know if it’s bottled, or filtered, or tap..... i have no idea..... but as a world traveler with several country’s in my belt, besides Canada, this is THE best water I’ve ever consumed in a restaurant. It’s smooth, chilled to perfection. I never thought in all my years of living that water would have me so struck, but Boy, this water deserves 50 stars. I only give 4, however, due to the time the sushi took, and the poor choices of sushi available. No typical sushi rolls were available, unless you order a roll with everything and ask for only what you want. It wasn’t too expensive but wasn’t cheap either. All in all, this experience here was wonderful and I will definitely be returning for more sushi...
