Thank you so much to the staff at Pan Pa Ya for their help and willingness to amend the poor experience. I called the restaurant earlier to ask if it would be at all possible to receive a refund for the items that were not attempted to be consumed and spoke to a very nice lady. I was advised that although they were unable to provide a refund, I could go in and they would be happy to exchange the items for something else of the same value. Just now I was able take the items that were not consumed back and the staff members were kind enough to let me replace what was purchased with some avena drinks amounting the total for the items brought back. My family and I very much appreciated their prompt service and willingness to resolve the problem. Although we were very much disappointed with the food today, we do hope this was a one time occurrence since their food is usually so delicious and their service is reason enough to go back.

Thank you again, Pan Pa Ya staff!

This is normally my favorite Colombian bakery in Broward. Normally the empanadas are some of the best I’ve eaten outside of actually eating in Colombia. Not sure what happened this time around but the empanadas are super salty, greasy and pretty much have no filling. You can literally hear the inside filling move around and hit the inside walls of the crust like little maracas. Some oil of course is always expected with fried empanadas but it’s so bad that basically half the paper bag the empanadas are in is soaked in oil, even the plastic bag that paper bag was put in got super oily and the other paper bag with pandebonos also got some. Extremely...

It upsets me to have to leave a bad review because their food is really good - honestly delicious! But the service needs major improvement. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered food for take out, picked it up, gone all the way home, only to find out I’m missing something from my order. Then I have to drive all the way back, ask for them to fix it and wait again - making the overall time like an HOUR AND HALF just to eat my egg breakfast. Seriously? This could have easily been avoided if they confirmed the food was complete before giving it away. My advice is CHECK THE FOOD YOURSELF before you leave, just to make sure!! & also repeat the order back to them 2-3 times before you pay because they have the tendency to mix up your order and charge you incorrectly – then claim that you ordered the wrong thing. A calentado con carne is not the same thing as huevos con carne. I know what I ordered but it looks like you weren’t paying attention & you put something else. Now I’m not sure if I’ll be going back to this...

Their pan de bono literally tastes like someone sprayed it with some type of chemical and smelled TERRIBLE literally TERRIBLE, spat it out as soon as I put it in my mouth. I also ordered something else that had cheese and ham inside some type of bread and the ham was almost green. I used to love this place but I don’t know what is going on now. Def never coming back...and then when I tell the girl at the cashier she’s like “they smell like that, nobody has a problem with it just you, they taste fine” with an attitude too.....instead of acknowledging the costumers concern and promptly dealing with it...honestly was baffled there’s no way I’m ever...

The food is not that great, service was ok. We order some empanadas, pan de bono, the patacón with chicken did not taste that great.( is missing something like salsa; it’s too plane simple ) The arepa rellena was ok, the perico eggs was super small portion. Overall The food felt short in taste. And a little overpriced $$$$ . This review speak of my experience, not necessarily can be yours. Give them try you may have a better and positive feed back. Hope this help.
