I usually order online from here. I love a specific item on the menu- the tomato basil ramen soup with chicken. I literally order this item 2-4 times a week…. Recently my order has been coming and given the fact I order so many times the moment something is different I notice…. My last 3 orders I felt cheated! I felt like I over paid! I felt like I didn’t get quality nor quantity and I tried to communicate this not for a refund but because I wanted to continue purchasing this item but I wanted it to be the way it’s suppose to be…. Now each time I order this item something is wrong, the first time I noticed my soup was burnt! That’s right burnt! How can soup be burnt ? It was over cooked! And there was hardly any meat. The second time it tasted okay but there was hardly anymeat and the amount of soup decreased in the container, followed by the last order I placed which was last night, I was in absolute disbelief, to the point where I counted the pieces of chicken in my soup and I took pictures of what I received, in my large soup were just 6 pieces of finely cut chicken and a splash or tomato sauce on the top, didn’t taste like tomato basil wasn’t even close, what made it very worse was the container was half full which made me wonder if the soup spilled during delivery or is this how much they served! I hope they correct it! I will continue to review and leave reviews and share my fees back! This item is not cheap!!!!! And I deserve to get my money worth! I felt cheated or robbed! To the point where I tried to issue a refund but they said they couldn’t for this item… so I had to accept the last three orders as they came burnt, missing ingredients, small amount and just accept the loss. It’s very unfortunate because at the end of the day these items are pricy, I paid 19.99 for one soup… and I buy this 2-4...
Read moreTalkin' Tacos has the BEST Birria tacos in South Florida. As far as I know. If there are better Birria tacos here, somebody share the location with me! The first time I had Talkin' Tacos was at a Yelp event at their Miramar location. It was and still is the best Birria tacos I've had in Florida. now they are opening up everywhere nationwide! Understandably so.
This is my first time to the Pembroke Pines location. We were in the area and wanted Mexican for lunch. This is an impromptu lunch date with hubby. Once you enter, there are two order kiosk where you can order your food. I love chaos as it is quick and efficient. Then you sit and wait for your food to arrive.
We ordered the shrimp burrito and Birria tacos. Her food took about 10 to 15 minutes. It was totally worth the wait. The shrimp burrito was super tasty and had so much flavor that I didn't even need hot sauce on it.
We all know how I feel about the Birria tacos and it certainly did not disappoint! The shell on the tacos were super crunchy, even after you dip it in the sauce. Like how? Haha. Good flavor in the birria taco meat and sauce. Great combo. I'm here for food dipped in sauce. French Dip is a fave sandwich, for good reason. Dipping that sauce I tell you!
Birria tacos taste like heaven when it's made just right! Thanks, Talkin' Tacos for satisfying my craving. Want to come back for the...
Read moreThis is definitely a gem when it comes to tacos. I just had probably the BEST tacos ever in Broward and Miami-Dade. Ordering and paying are done on a kiosk and the entire transaction is easy. There is staff to help if you needed it. We ordered the Taco Trio and tasted the Achiote chicken, Birria, Carne asada, al pastor and Caribbean meat. There are other choices, including vegetarian. Let me start with the tortilla: it is yellow corn and absolutely cooked to perfection without breaking up after the first bite like at other places. Each taco is loaded with meat and there is an explosion of flavors after the cilantro, achiote, pineapple and all other spices hit your taste buds. My favorite was the achiote chicken, with the Caribbean meat a close second, maybe because it has tiny pieces of sweet plantain that contrast perfectly with the meat. My husband loved the birria tacos with the dipping sauce. This taco comes already folded and it has tons of savory shredded meat and melted cheese. We also shared an horchata, which is a traditional rice, milk and cinnamon based drink. Delicious! The decor is neon with day of the dead allusions. Really cool. Don’t walk to “Talking Tacos,” run! You will...
