Vito's Pizza — Restaurant in Pennington

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Vito’s with co workers for lunch and I have to say that from the second I walked in to the second I walked out I was treated with exceptional professionalism and service.

As I approached the counter I was met with a bright smile from a young worker. She proceeded to ask what I would like and took my order while maintaining a smile. This is important and I believe she knew it.

I ordered a small meatlover calzone that was prepared to the T. The dough was cooked to a perfect crisp which in turn helped all interior ingredients reach the perfect temperature for a perfect bite everytime. Thank you much!

To the cooks we appreciate you guys and girls for the hrs spent in making sure all food is prepared to satisfaction EVERYTIME. Consistency is key!

I am excited about my new hat purchase. The color is perfect. Thank you Vitos for being a great example of how day to day food service business should run. I hope to see you all again.

I like Vito's food and they had always been great, but they really have been blowing it with my orders lately. A couple of weeks ago I went and picked up some dinner and they gave us the wrong order, BUT they made it right by dropping off the right order afterwards and we kept the WRONG order as well. Things happen. Yesterday was the first time I've ordered since that mistake. THIS TIME I order 1 cheesteak hoagie and 2 chicken cheesteaks. I looked and saw 3 sandwiches when I grabbed the bag so it looked like everything was OK. Then I get home and see 3 cheesteak hoagies with hot peppers so I couldn't even eat it because its too hot for me. I didn't call back this time, I just decided I'm sick of the continuous mess-ups. I don't plan on going back anytime soon. They aren't bad people and their food is good, but none of that matters if you keep getting the wrong thing and having to keep wasting your time...

We order here pretty regularly and it’s usually great, but every now and then it is totally off. Case in point, we had friends in town from Sweden and wanted to share an authentic NJ pie with them. Sadly, our pizza arrived so “wet” that half the ingredients slid off the pie in transit. We called and ordered a replacement and they kindly acknowledged the issue and sent a replacement pie. The driver arrived and apologized, saying it was his fault, but it absolutely was not. This was a kitchen issue. They really need to leave any of their pizzas with veg on them in the oven longer because no pie should arrive with all...
