Worst waiter, ever. We pulled into the parking lot at 12:30 pm. We were immediately seated. A bit later the waiter appears and ask us what we would like to drink. We told him coffee and he was gone. After about 10 min I asked my husband if he thought they had to go to Columbia to get the coffee beans. We wait another 5 min and the waiter finally appears to tell us that the coffee is being made. He then takes our order. We wait. Waiter passes our table and I ask him if they still serve the biscuits. He says yes, but he was going to bring them out with our coffee. ( which we still do not have) Coffee comes (without biscuits). We wait another 15 min and my husband ask him why our food is taking so long. In a snarky attitude way he says “ I don’t know what to tell you, the order is in”. The attitude was too much. We told him we would pay for the coffee, but we were leaving. He disappears and comes back with Desiree (I guess she’s the manager). She tells us the food is ready and it’s only been 9 min. We nicely tell her no, it’s been much longer since we ordered. She banters about it for a bit about the 9 min. If that’s the case the waiter could not have put our order in when he should have. We leave and get out to the parking lot and look at the time. We arrived at 12:30pm and now it’s 1:15pm. We were there and managed to get a cup of coffee after a 20 min wait. This is the Red Lobster we have patronized for...
Read moreMy husband and I went to dinner on Sunday night with our 9 year old. When we were being seated, the hostess said they don't give silverware with the kids menu, which I thought strange but ok. When we ordered our drinks I told our waitress, politely, we didn't have silverware or napkins for our kid and she said that was "weird" and she would bring him utensils. When she brought our biscuits and drinks back, she only brought 2 plates and still no utensils or napkins for our son. After that our waitress, who we could hear being very attentive to the tables beside us, just seemed to be bothered by us. We couldn't get refills on cocktails or water, my husband had to get my refill at the bar. Part of my son's meal never came and when we asked for boxes, the waitress got angry that we were leaving. When I said that my child never even got a napkin, and we were sitting here with food but no drinks, our waitress said "they are at every server station", as if we should have just gotten them ourselves.
This was certainly an anomaly, we always have enjoyed our meals there, but that was some of the worst service I've ever...
Read moreMy family and I have gone to this Red Lobster for many years and this was the worst experience that we have had. My husband ordered the lobster bisque, which had no lobster in it and tasted like beer cheese. He also had a lobster tail, scallops and steak with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery, the scallops were in mostly water, the steak was very salty, the mashed potatoes were not loaded and the broccoli was cold and unseasoned. . I had ordered the ultimate feast with lobster tail, crab legs, Walt’s shrimp and shrimp scampi. The lobster tail again was over cooked and rubbery, the crab legs were probably the worst I have ever tasted. They tasted like they had sat in salt water for hours. I couldn’t even eat them. The shrimp scampi and Walt’s shrimp were the only things that tasted good. I don’t know what has happened to this restaurant, but we used to enjoy a nice delicious dinner here and that was definitely not the case today. The service was great and the waitress was...
