Brickery's Grill — Restaurant in Pensacola

So, the food is always good. They give you plenty for a great price. And the people are usually very friendly and kind. I'll start the next part by saying I do not expect everyone to put on a fake smile for customers all day every day. You're human, not robots. However, I don't understand why I was treated the way I was treated today. I was polite. The person handling the transaction was slowly closing the register and saying "thank you", seeming like she wasn't wanting to give me my change. I waited for her to give me my change and when she didn't I said "do I have change?" She scoffed, shook her head and reluctantly gave it to me. Then, when I kindly asked for extra forks (I had 3 kids with me and they give you a ton of food. We weren't going to share one fork) she shook her head again and reluctantly gave them to me. Then, after our meal, I asked for extra napkins (they only give you one per box) and again, she scoffed, shook her head, and reluctantly gave them to me. I mean, I understand if times are tough right now. I get it. Perhaps you should put out a tip jar if you expect tips (like baristas do) instead of assuming you're going to keep a customer's change, and perhaps you should make a sign that says no extra forks or napkins if you're going to whine about having to give paying...

Usually not one to write reviews on anything but I had to take time out of my day to recognize these people their wonderful food and the amazing service ... first and foremost the food is made fresh and Iam assuming they use a light oil instead of a heavy oil grill to maintain the texture of the meat .. unlike the surrounding places in the food court I'd honestly say this the best food the mall had to offer ... secondly I couldn't ask for better service the staff and manager let me try everything just to make sure I liked what I was getting .. along with the one meat and two sides I had the opportunity to try the pancit which in fact was remarkable , basically got a free side for no extra charge ... I wander why they don't have more buissness? It's great food with awesome staff for a reasonably low price.. Iam hoping one day they will open up a restaurant outside of this so I can take my family there .. thanks guys and continue...

I am awarding Brickery's Grill a 4 out of 5 stars rating. While I have experienced some disappointment when ordering via GrubHub, the quality of food when dining in-person during non-rush hours has been exceptional. The kitchen's visible proximity to the dining area adds a level of reassurance.
