⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem Full of Flavor, Heart, and Family Values
Taco Baleado is more than just a place to eat — it’s a true experience. Mrs. Margarita and her two sons serve food that tastes like home: rich, authentic, and absolutely divine. You can feel the love in every bite.
The Uruguayan waiter was outstanding — friendly, warm, and made everyone feel like family. It’s rare to find service that sincere and genuine.
What truly touched me was seeing the whole family working together in harmony. One of the sons’ wife is the hostess — kind, caring, and attentive with every guest. You instantly feel welcome the moment you walk in.
It’s clear that Mrs. Margarita raised her sons with deep family values — something that feels almost extinct in today’s world. Watching them work together with love and respect is inspiring. What a beautiful example of unity. ¡Viva México!
Her other son, the bartender, made my favorite drink: the Paloma — don’t miss it next time you visit!
Wishing this amazing family continued success and unity. A place like this deserves all the love and support.

Read moreFor an authentic taste of Mexico right here in Pensacola it's El Taco Baleado. Finally, REAL Mexican food. Their menu has Mexican dishes that you will definitely not find at another Mexican restaurant currently in Pensacola. We ordered the Baleado Burrito, their house burritos and Michuacana Enchiladas with a side of avocado, Excellent! They make their own tortillas for fresh chips and entrees. All of the food is fresh or made from scratch. They obviously spared no expenses when renovating. Everything is new. The restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated. They have a large centrally located bar with two big screen TV's where you can watch a ballgame over a beer with a buddy. The music is really nice. Perfect atmosphere for just stopping in for a cocktail with a date🍹. The owner Carla and her son Julian are on top of everything. Julian was our server. This young man did an excellent job of service. We were treated so graciously. Absolutely refreshing. Amazingly, they are open at 10 am for brunch. They have a vast array of authentic Mexican breakfast dishes. My husband and I are looking forward to returning to try more of the original...

I’ll start by saying, we were really excited about trying a reviewing this place….
We were sat quickly, which shouldn’t have been an issue as we were the only patrons besides one other table. (Remember this table) Then we were delivered a bowl of ketchup, OR the cheapest pre made salsa available, we couldn’t really tell. After that we waited 17 minutes to order (in an empty restaurant) as we watched our waitress hang out at the one other table in the place, but hey, they were drinking and having fun, I get it. We finally gave up and walked out (we left $7 on the table) nobody said a word on the way out either. They clearly don’t want the business I guess. Also, multiple parts of their menu are designed to rip you off after you get past the front page that is all hot dogs and hamburgers. See attached pics, and do not spend a...
