Avoid the stress of this McDonald’s store #5085 North 9th Pensacola, FL 6-8-2024 @ 0811am order #79
I said I’d never go back but I mistakenly did… and nothing has changed or now management has decided to followed bad examples of poor service and disrespect!
I ordered through the McDonald’s app. And when I arrived, I was given my bag of food and two iced coffees. After counting the items in the bad, I drove home. At home, the two ice coffees were nothing more than coffee with a little cream… and my wife said, this is not what we ordered. Tasting mine is was not the Iced Sugar Free Vanilla Coffee I’ve have been served in the past. For $6.38 for two coffee I returned to the store to have them remade.
Inside I asked for the mgr who came and looked at the two drinks. I showed the receipt and asked for a replacement. She seemed baffled as to what to do and explained the employee who made it was from Jamacia and was new which did not matter to me or my replacement. However, when I then complained that every Saturday that I have come here, something happens with wrong orders. She replied, “I don’t work every Saturday! “But you represent this business,” I replied. As she walked away and saying, “Whatever” and flip-waving her hand like, go away… This was very disrespectful to me. I then asked for her to return to the counter, as every employee watched her go with not acknowledgment to me; asking for her attention. Eventually she came back and told me they were making a fresh brew and that we do not serve the sugar free vanilla here (Which I and my wife have bought before). Another male employee also spoke with me and seemed to know more about addressing problems better than the mgr does (fire her and give him a promotion). I ask the mgr why is this so hard? I noted just a few Saturdays ago, (my cars video recorded) recording things that went badly too (and I was told then, when trying to get my order corrected, “It’s food, ain’t it!”). Her only comment was, “We got cameras all over this place too!” She still could not understand this is about correct orders, and amending mistakes, and with respect. I’m glad you have video cameras because customer treatment can be reviewed as well.
At this point I was wondering if my new coffee would be even sugar free at all; if not possibly angrily tamped with. Broken and done with this, I told the mgr I was leaving and being done with the replacement coffee and problems; a $6.38 lesson I ate the cost on… I advised her, I will be contacting the owners. “Bye numerous times with hand flips continuing as I walked out.
I patron McDonald’s in Navarre easily 4 out of 7-days a week with rarely a problem worth mentioning. This weekend location McDonald’s where my family and I usually try to get a day-off breakfast has caused so many problems and stressful mornings for us; we cannot return! It’s only me and my money but instead of this location I’ll take options of other brand breakfast providers nearby. #mcdonalds #badservice...
Read moreIn the early morning of 3:04 am I had arrived at McDonald's Eastgate Plaza and was asked to wait by the manager Carmen over 3 minutes before I was asked what I would like. I was advised to pull around for the amount of my purchase which was a Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit combo with a root beer to drink. I waited in the drive thru 13 minutes + seconds to be asked what did you order at the second drive thur before I presented my method of payment. I asked "You do not have my order?" and the attendant (unknown woman) shook her head no reviewing a piece of paper that had hand written information. I repeated my order and the attendant advised me that my order would be $4.86. I presented a credit card. The attendant shook her head and stated they are not taking credit or debit cards. I was frankly frustrated due to my wait time and never advised that the only method of payment was cash. I presented a $5 bill. When the attendant came back to provide the root beer she informed me that the amount of the order was actually $5.47 but I did not have to pay the additional amount of $0.47. I do not like to short change so I presented my additional amount $0.50 for the $0.47 under and was given $0.03 in return. The attendant provided all condiments I asked, no receipt and off I was 6 minutes away from home sweet home. I had already sat for so long and like so many customers feel the fries or hashbrown before they pull off. Well I did also and even though it was cold to the touch while driving off I knew I did not wanna sit through another 20 minutes of that again. I took my biscuit out and was taken a back when I felt no fluff or warmth. I attempted to take a bite and stopped myself feeling the 3 hrs of the biscuit sitting there awaiting for an unwilling customer. I had to dispose of food that was inconsumable. I contact the store at Eastgate Plaza in Pensacola, FL to speak with Carmen, that advised she was the manager. I had provided what had happened and she stated that she forgot to tell me the credit/debit card machine was down, sorry for the wait. I told her the worse problem is that I have purchased food that I cannot eat. She asked for my information for a biscuit meal combo. I told her I did not want a meal from there, what is going to happen to fix it. She said I did not give her a chance to help. I advised we would have never been in this situation if the service from the time I came through the drive thur was properly resolved. I advised I would be contacting corporate due to the way this McDonald's is being handled. I cannot eat at this McDonald's again. Horrible service from the start. ...
Read moreI visited your location today at 11:29PM and had a very disappointing experience at the drive-thru. When I pulled up, the person on the speaker (a male voice) said, “Go ahead with your order.” His tone came off as rude, but I responded politely, asking “Huh?” in case I misheard him. After that, there was a long silence. For about 7–8 minutes, I kept hearing the mic click on and off, but no one said anything back to me. I kept repeating “Hello, is anyone there?” with no response.
Finally, the cashier came back on and said, “Are you going to order?” I explained that I had been waiting and kept saying hello. His response was, “I said, what’s your order? That means talk.” When I told him he never actually responded to me, he insisted he was waiting on me to talk. This was unprofessional and confusing communication.
I asked to speak with a manager. The manager came on the mic and said, “Hello ma’am, what’s your order?” in a very matter-of-fact tone that felt dismissive. When I asked her if her employee had an attitude, her response was, “I don’t know ma’am. Do you want to order?” I said that it seemed like she didn’t want to be at work either, and her response was simply, “Are you going to order something?” At that point I decided not to order at all.
This ruined my entire experience. I had just finished a 12-hour shift, and I only stopped by to grab a quick meal for my kids, who were tired, crying, and hungry. Instead of quick service, I was met with rudeness and poor communication from both the cashier and the manager. This left me with no confidence in ordering food there, as I was genuinely concerned about how my order would be handled after hearing those attitudes.
I left without ordering, frustrated and disappointed. No customer should be treated this way. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed with the staff so future customers do not have the...
