Just left and it was a real disappointment. Today is my birthday, so my husband and I went to have dinner. We had never been before. They were not busy, only three other tables were sat. It was at least 15 minutes before our waitress, Cara, came and got our drink order. When the drinks were brought, we ordered appetizers, and then entrees. It took way too long just to order. When food started arriving, we did not have silverware, so we had to wait again for that too. The food was nothing to write home about, entree portions were not accurate to the menu. My steak was not cooked as ordered.(Ordered Surf and Turf with Shrimp) I was never asked if I wanted another drink at any point and I probably would have ordered if I had been asked. While waiting on the bill, I went ahead and walked out to go to the bathroom thinking my husband wouldn't be long paying the bill. The ladies restroom is absolutely disgusting, please see picture. It appeared to be a nice bathroom at one point, but definitely not now. After waiting for another 15 minutes, my husband walked out and said they brought pie out because of my birthday. I was long gone at that point, completely disappointed that my birthday dinner absolutely sucked. My favorite part, is that you could hear the waitresses and cooks having a good old time in the back of the house.......I don't plan to return..

What a delicious place we stumbled upon while looking for a place to eat right on the water! We got to sit right out on the patio under a fan and enjoyed our lunch with a water view. Lots of great seafood options, burgers, sandwiches and a few other great choices. We got the kids fish basket and my son LOVED it. Lots of food and the fish was cooked perfectly - very crunchy and delicious! We also got a popcorn shrimp special with 2 sides and a TON of delicious popcorn shrimp - so good! I had shrimp skewers with collard greens and green beans, oh my goodness was it full of fantastic flavor!! So much deliciousness on my plate! Someone else ordered a burger that was really tasty, lobster Mac and cheese- SO GOOD! And the coconut shrimp salad was the last of of what we ordered. Everything was very good, great portion sizes - well worth the price! We also tried a couple drinks off their specialty menu - the emerald coast margarita and the white cap, both equally delicious and we got them in a cute souvenir cups to bring home with us that were just adorable! Great service and all around wonderful experiences, we will definitely make it back when we go through Pensacola again, thank you for making our family's lunch so fun and memorable!

We sat at the bar and the server was decent, it took her a minute to greet us eventhough there was no one sitting at the bar, but she was making a drink. we came in at 5:15 and happy hour was till 6pm because she told us which was a dollar off wine and beer and well liquor, so we ordered beer and wine,,then another round at 5:45 so we could still take advantage of the happy hour! We ordered our dinner it was good, but when the bill came our secound round of drinks were full price and I said to her heyyyy, what's up with the full price and she said that I ordered it after 6 which was a lie because I looked at watch,,she said the computer does it and she has nothing to do with it!,,I told her that she rung it up after 6 but I ordered our second round before 6 because I was making sure that we were talking advantage of happy hour! She then said, I don't lie! ,,I raised my eyebrow and said bull girl you put it in the computer after 6 but I ordered wayy, before 6, that's what happened! I didn't feel like arguing over it, but I did tell her I was going to give a review on Google about it!

The 1 star is for the location/view and service. The food is 0 stars. The shrimp on my shrimp and grits was so over cooked and rubbery and wasn’t even deveined. The sausage was also over cooked and dry, and as you can tell from the photo they’re all shriveled up. It supposedly had a Cajun sauce over the grits, but there wasn’t a hint of any spice. I’ve never sent a dish back before, but I couldn’t even eat it. Someone else with me got the fried seafood platter. They found everything to be overbreaded. Also, when he asked for tartar sauce they gave him some pre made packets. What seafood restaurant doesn’t have a house tartar sauce? I think that tells you everything you need to know about this place. One more thing, the kids Mac & cheese is $7.99 and it’s Kraft. If you’re going to charge that much, at least make it homemade. This restaurant has so much potential, given the location and good wait staff. But whoever is the owner here, should find a new cook or risk going out of business.

I was so looking forward to some good local fresh fish for my first meal of the trip. Unfortunately, my blackened Mahi Mahi was so severely overcooked, to the point where it was beyond any flavor or enjoyment. But I was extremely hungry (be prepared for long waits during peak days/times) so I ate it, but resented having to pay premium price for a basic dish that was obviously not up to par, to put it kindly. The mashed potatoes were, well, "there", and the gouda grits truly didn't taste like they had been salted in even the slightest amount. I'm giving three stars anyway, because I trust that they are capable of better and assuming it was an off night, and because it's just a cool place to go on your beach vacation, very family friendly, even at the outdoor area out back where there was live music and little children dancing with each other and being so caught up those moments where lifetime family vacation memories come from.

It was very slow when we arrived on a Sunday evening. The service from the staff was fine, but the food was terrible. Photo attached shows the consistency of the grits. It was thick and gelatin-like, so thick that it could double as a flatware holder. I got the surf and turf for 35 bucks and received a tiny nugget of steak and way oversalted fries. My son got the shrimp and grits and it was terrible. We've been here before and tried the shrimp and grits and it was fine, but tonight it was terrible. Even my daughter was underwhelmed, and she's the one that wanted to go here. Hopefully she won't ask to ever come here again. And, they add a 3.25% credit card processing fee without warning you! Ridiculous. 151 bucks for a crappy meal nobody liked. And their old fashioned was terrible, even though it coated about 20 bucks. Definitely my last visit here. Anyway check out my photo of their grits.
