We ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and they were all awesome! Each was served on a big Portuguese roll that was fresh and crispy on the outside/soft on the inside. The Cacoila Sandwich was a hit. The sauce on the side blew my mind. The Prego Steak Sandwich was definitely another favorite. Loved the caramelized onions on it and the garlicky sauce to dip. The Portuguese Burger had a good char that the banana peppers went really good with. The Chicken Mozambique Sandwich had yummy charred chicken thighs with the slightly spicy Pony Slaw and dill pickle slices. They each came with a side and a canned drink. We enjoyed the home fries and pasta salad with little peas. The potato salad seems homemade and fresh and I feel like the Pony Slaw goes really good with each sandwich, just add a side lol The Portuguese soup was really hearty and full of greens, beans and meats that all felt really familiar and definitely delicious. Like a hug from the inside, I could feel the love 🫶 Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast! They're always so nice when I go in there, love the atmosphere. Open Saturday &...

It's really hard to give a place 5 stars, but with seeing all the others I had to. The food is impressive, very delicious, and the eggs reminded me of my grandmother's, but with finesse. They don't use cream in their eggs but it came out in a perfect texture with no burns. The potato's with garnish and what seems to be maybe little pieces of pork were out of this world. The bacon was a perfect crisp maybe a little hard on one end but easily looked past on. The biscuit was fluffy with a nice crunch on the bottom, and the gravy was great a little salty but still great! This place is amazing. The staff are very welcoming, warm, and do not shy from a conversation. The power went out in my hotel so a bummer start of the day and then I came here, a complete turn around to my day! Will bring friends...

I’ve dined here twice now and each experience has been excellent. Kyree, Eric, and Stacey are all lovely people which adds to the good vibes of the restaurant. The first time, I had the hash with sausage and got the tarragon chicken salad to go, both delicious. The second time, I was offered gluten free biscuits and gravy they are testing out. I’m currently enjoying the leftovers. Amazing flavor with a lot of green onions. Anyone who knows me knows I will literally “risk it for the biscuit” so I’m thrilled to have a gluten free choice. My friends got the burger with potato salad (said it tastes just like her late aunt used to make) and the chicken salad sandwich. Of course, I had to get more chicken salad to go the second time! It’s going to be a staple...

The Steel Pony Diner was absolutely delicious! Our waiter (who is also one of the owners) Ky was very kind, personable, and attentive! The service was great and the food was excellent! Out of everything my family ordered, everyone’s favorite item that we tried was the hash smothered in sauce, peppers, and sausage. We highly recommend this diner! P.S. Don’t get confused - the diner is located inside the same building as the coffee shop. Different starter restaurants use the same location. The Steel Pony Diner does breakfast and lunch at this location while hoping to open their own stand alone restaurant in the future. Don’t let this stop you from going! It was great and we hope one day they’re able to open their own location!
