Great "new" restaurant for downtown Peoria. Stopped by on a weekday for lunch with friends. It was all really good and eager to come by for dinner. Service was great - and friendly. Can't remember his name but he was really professional and attentive. We all had hamburgers and they were awesome. We each had a different one but liked them all. The atmosphere is really nice with plenty of room both in the bar area and the restaurant area. Menu has plenty of options. This would also be good for groups. All feels really brand new and extremely clean. I realize it is new, but has been open for I around a year - only just got around to checking it out! Will be back for sure. Aug Update: Did return this time for dinner. Oh my - this time we had many of the issues flagged by others. To start, we came for the Steak Frites and the Filet. But the menu has been changed and both are gone! Very disappointed, but tried the Baby Back Ribs. Not so good. Tough. Making matters worse, the drinks were totally off which for $10 each doesn't put you in a good mood. Switched to a draft beer which at $5 for an IPA was great. I stand by what I wrote for lunch, and gave that 5 stars. But this visit has put me off and not sure I would return unless for lunch. What saved the meal was our server Matera who was wonderful. But otherwise - this is hard to understand in a Marriott - flagged hotel restaurant with a very experience manager. This seems to be more than Covid related - but for the sake of the need for visitors and locals to have a great restaurant downtown, let's hope the future is better.

I don’t know if I’ve ever left a Google review honestly, but we went for dinner last night and I just need to share…everything was extremely slow and the overall experience was terrible. We waited over an hour and 30 minutes to get food… our appetizers came out with our meal and they were cold and hard. And when we asked about them he said they were heating up the cheese for the pretzels .. when they got to us they were hard as a rock and cold. We saw people leave , seat themselves , go get their own menus.. When we ordered drinks , the third time they were brought to us but we got brought the wrong beer, which mistakes happen …we were still trying to remain optimistic ….maybe they were short staffed? then we get our food and I ordered mac & cheese which is one of their signature dishes/one of the reasons we went and there was no noodles… I wish I was even joking. how do you forget the Mac in the Mac in cheese.. we were told they thought it looked a little different but wasn’t sure when it was brought to the table .. they look like completely different dishes. I did tell him to just take it off the bill and I would pass but he felt bad and brought it out anyway so that was nice of him.. my boyfriends wings were very good but they were $16 for maybe 8 wings , and the grape cider boys was amazing on tap …once we got the right beer (the third time)

Was refused service because of a disability!!! A member of our party had a disability requiring the use of a registered ADA service animal. The restaurant refused to serve us. The party was embarrassed and walked out while I requested to place an order to go. The manager was rude and kept trying to pawn the task off on her worker instead of talking to me. I attempted to show her the service animals identification card which states that federal law prohibited denial of service and she could care less. She said they only allowed "seeing eye dogs" as to choose which disability they tolerated. We waited 45 min in the lobby for french toast and a breakfast sandwich.. paid $3 for Togo coffee that we didn't get and had to come back and ask for.. they also charged an 18% gratuity which had not been on our bill the day before. This manager/ bar is a lawsuit waiting to happen if they don't properly train their employees. On top of that the food was not great. I will not stay at this hotel or eat here again.. based on the other reviews seems the owners could care less about the quality of service they provide. Name on ticket was Sarah 3/1/2025 at breakfast Additional here is a link to the ada website for the owner and their employees: https://www.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/
