Dream Center Peoria — Attraction in Peoria

I am a type 2 diabetic with disabilities and also have a 7 year old disabled child...this shelter kicked us out for me advocating for myself all while my sugar is out of 40. They made no accommodations as far as food knowing that me and my child have severe food allergies and I also work and my child does extracurricular activities....Anytime I have said anything to them about it I get nothing but attitude and threats to be put out of the shelter my daughter and I aren't even from this state I would not recommend this shelter if you are going through domestic violence they put their victims at risk.... my 7 year old and myself are now homeless in 98° weather, no water and not even being able to go to the bathroom in this facility... because of them putting us out we cannot get into any other shelter here...

WORST SHELTER IN PEORIA! I Didn't stay here for more than one night,bout 4 months ago. It was crammed packed, caseworkers and front desk people super disrespectful, snooty and the type to spit in ur food just cause they know ur homeless. people sleeping in hallways, mattresses on floors, Little to no help with food, jobs, or anything here. Barely any food in the morning at breakfast, everyone had to go to the elevator to go upstairs to eat, but there was nothing but box milk and plastic box cereal for kids, and coffee for adults. Poor everything here, no resources, no pantry. I dont recommend this place for any homeless person or family. Salvation army or HSHM in Bloomington IL...

I asked Ms v since 4 to talk I just had surgery she has said since 4 she would when she could we.
