In Response: I deeply apologize that I was inconveniencing you for 1 taco at $3.50, its not like I was asking for the entire order to be redone. I would like to again reiterate that I went through your screen menu to order as there were about 8 people in line and seemed like the faster option and even if by the time I got to the line after ordering on the screen the food would've been finished. I cannot also read minds of how you operate your establishment and most food places operate by separating their meat and seafood when serving. That's food and handling 101. If I was treated with more respect as a customer I would've not felt the need to post anything at all, small business or not.
Orginal Review: So I ordered 4 tacos from one of the 2 screens that was out from of the food truck. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos and 1 Carne asada. I did not know how they were going to be served and they were all served together in one plate. Well the Carne asada taco was for my wife. She's also deathly allergic to shellfish and so there could have been signs of cross contamination. She did not want to test it. So I politely walked back up to discuss about giving the details of the situation and asked if their was something they could do as I did not see an option about food allergies. And as I asked if there was something they could do, all I got back was a "well you should've let me know" and then as I exclaimed I did not see an option on the screen and the line was busy, he then told me "I can make you another one but it's gonna cost you for another taco" as a hospitality worker myself I would never had acted the way the person talked to me. I respectfully declined to pay for an extra taco and...
Read moreIt's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return. You will not be disappointed! 😋🤤🌮🌯

Read moreJust a little backstory .. AZ taco spots are too hit and miss for my Chicago taste buds. However this place! It’s a yes and I will be back! I value my money and the experiences attached to it. I started by calling to confirm the menu, & location. The gentleman that answered was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.. that was already a green check.. I asked about payment options, he broke down each form of payment accepted.. I said I wanted birria ramen; he informed me there were 2 sizes.. short version he gave me all info needed before leaving my home. Customer service is so undervalued these days that he doesn’t he know he had me sold in that moment alone. I ordered two steak tacos, I’m a simple cheese cilantro and onion person when trying taco joints cause I wanna know what you got offer on flavor. Without the additives.. they hit the mark… birria was delicious. Personally would’ve preferred it being spicy. Not their fault; again I go simple to see what’s to it all.. lastly when I arrived other customers where there.. that means a lot to me as well… cause I’m not eating where other people aren’t lolbs.. bottom line I’ll be back.. I noticed they offer delivery but if you can go for yourself definitely do it, I was able to read the menu, learn about breakfast and Tuesday...
