When I started my staycation, one of the most important things I knew I had to do, was find a chair I could sit in comfortably, while trying to work out the stiffness from working such long hours. I went to multiple stores, and everything was garbage. Not a single maybe in the bunch. My last store was La-Z-Boy, and I literally had tears in my eyes I was in so much pain. Pain ups the emotional tolerance to say the least. I explained the situation to the sales lady, I’m sure I’ve actually talked with her in the past as much of my furniture is La-Z-Boy. We went around trying dozens of chairs, different styles, etc according to my height … until we hit on one that took the pain away! It’s the Joshua Power Wall Recliner (not swivel or rocker). Not gonna lie, it’s pretty fancy, and way smaller than I thought I’d be getting. I was picturing one of those huge overstuffed recliners, like bear sized… but this is half that, so like a mama bear size. What is so unique about this chair, is it’s incredible adjustability, which accommodates whatever my pain level is at any given time and pain point, and it can alleviate it. Since my pain areas are different at different times, I’m not locked in to one position ever. As the chair is electric, I’m not locked into a pre-set low-medium-high option. I can literally customize it to exactly where it needs to be each time I sit in it. It does have a feature to save it to a preferred setting, but my body pain is forever changing. I don’t need the same level of support every time. The remote also has a home button that returns you to the normal position in case you need to get up quickly. There is also an indent on the right side of the chair, that you can use to keep the remote handy, which is right next to the USB phone charging port. There was the downside of it having to wait for the delivery, which was due mostly to my fabric preference and stain treatment I elected, but it actually only took about a month. Every time I sit down, I first adjust the lower lumbar support (critical relief in seconds), then the elevation my legs want to be, then the headrest (for perfect neck support to reduce that neck strain), then the specific amount of reclining I want to reduce hip pressure. It’s literally like being lovingly cupped by a supportive soft cloud. The remote control is basic, clear, and super easy and fast to adjust in seconds on a moments whim. Since going back to work, I was immediately dismayed at how fast my body stiffened up again, despite my constant interchanging with my good office chair, alternating standing at the desk, and also using a big yoga ball chair. Due to my adjustable electric desk, I am able to use this chair to work in!!! Although I do still alternate between sitting and standing. Also, due to the amazing adjustability, I’m able to hold ice packs or heating pads in place perfectly when I need them. This chair is a lifesaver and game changer! The price with my upgrades was around $3k, but it was critical money well spent. It can be bought cheaper, but it may not have the specific pain reduction features that were so...

My experience with Lazy Boy Furniture has been a VERY disappointing one. We moved here July of 2014 needing all new furniture because of our age and the myth that lazy boy furniture was one of the best products out there we wanted this to be the last furniture that we buy and should last us the rest of our life. Investing over $25,000.00 for only three rooms was over whelming to me but my dear wife convinced me it will be worth it in the long run so I agreed. within the first they have been out here 10 times for multiple problems at that time they were under warranty so we got credit for them but we had to pay extra for upgrades as they told us we had purchased the cheap stuff so for a few hundred dollars more per item we could buy the good stuff. When we purchased this furniture I was to the understanding that we had bought the top of the line product that would last us for years to come. So far we have had to replace two end tables, ( wood started to separate) Two very large throw rugs, (the edges started to Frye) A 42 inch round table, ( also wood separation) and now my favorite the big sectional couch ( $3700.00). The corner piece has a cushion sewn to the seat itself and the corner seem stitching came apart a small 4 inch seem. they said they could send someone out and repair it for $50.00 as usual we agreed but the gentleman they sent out did not have the expertise needed to do the job and told us we would have to send the whole section in and have it repaired an additional $270.00. Also we were gone for almost a year and did not use this furniture. Lazy boy furniture is not about quality or taking care of their customers. I will tell everyone I'm in contact with how I got spoofed into buying such expensive furniture for such lousy product. I will never buy anything from them EVER. So disappointed in a company that will take your money and not give a dam about how they treat...
