I encountered absolutely horrible customer service by the hostess at this location on the evening of 7/24/25. I had a curbside order to pick up at 8:15 pm and per their instructions, texted HERE when I arrived several minutes early . At 8:30 pm, I walked in to the store to inquire about my 8:15 order. The hostess remarked ‘ Did you call us to bring it out to you?’’ I checked the instructions on my phone and somewhat apologetically said “no, per the instructions that were sent to me, I just needed to send you the word ‘here’. “. Before I could finish my sentence, she interrupted me and said I was supposed to call, and that they do not have access to anything that alerts them to my being outside waiting. . Bear in mind, I have used their curbside service many times in the past and have never had to call; My food has always been brought out to me after I have texted the word. “here” to their instructions.
There were no other orders waiting to be picked up except mine, and the restaurant was almost completely empty. In my mind, somebody with a little bit of customer service, would have called me and asked if I was there yet, Especially since no one there instructions, does it say I need to call inside to let them know I have arrived. Also, I ordered $80 worth of food and paid for it with my debit card. In the future, if I come to this location, I will be in paying with cash as I would venture to guess they’ll be a little more interested on if I’m there or not if they aren’t paid prior to my arrival.
I also had placed a second order for a couple of drinks, and those were sitting there as well, ice melted. I had opted to pay cash for those and two extremely small iced teas were almost $10. I handed her a $10 bill and She was unable to get the cash door opened. After we waited a few minutes and nobody came to help her open it. I finally told her to just keep the $.67 change.. Very snottily and sarcastically, she told me ‘thank you’ and to ‘have a GREAT night. At this point, I had had enough of her sarcasm and said “you have already managed to ruin that for me’ …. To which she asked me if I would like to have a drink carrier. The tone of her voice was less customer service and more. “I’d like to shove your drink carrier where the sun doesn’t shine.” .
I’m in customer service and sometimes I know it’s hard to be nice, but where I work, I will lose my job if I don’t keep my own opinion and attitude to myself. This young lady needs a lesson in how to handle herself as a hostess.
Finally, since my food sat for so long waiting for me to come inside and get it; it was cold and sticky. The drinks were watered down. Below is a picture of what my spicy orange chicken look like the moment that I opened the cover off of it…. It literally looks like somebody ate a third of my meal already. There is absolutely no moisture and no sauce along with that chicken. It was tough and it was cold.
I’m fully aware that P.F. Chang’s makes a delicious meal and their customer service is usually off the charts. But next time, which won’t be anytime soon, I will definitely be choosing another location. And paying cash AFTER I’m sure of the quality...
Read moreI ordered food to go. As I did not want to dine in that evening . I ordered two entree, one of them is the Kung pao steamed shrimp, and I paid for the order with my credit card. While waiting for the food to be ready after few minutes I asked for the detail bill. Since I did not receive it. Luckily, I did that, I found out that the person rang it for Kung Pao Chicken which I do not like So I told the Lady who rang the order that I did not order the Kung Pao chicken. So, she told the kitchen to correct the order. A customer made a comment when he heard the conversation." Yeah, it is important to get the order correct." I would have been upset to pick-up the order to go and to realize when I arrive home that the order is not correct, since I do not like chicken. And I would not be able to drive back since I live little bit far from the restaurant. So again, luckily I asked for the detail receipt. So a week later, I saw my credit card amount went more than what I signed for. I was disturbed to see that the charge was increase d without my authorization or my Knowledge. Not only that I provided my phone number to add the purchase toward my rewards points. That was not done also, it seems the staff is not properly trained to make sure that they will apply the purchase when you requested to add it toward your reward point, Not only that, I ordered brown rice for the two orders and they had white rice instead. When, I called them t to tell them h you had the wrong rice. No apologies was given, they only said you can come in to give you brown rice. Well, I was not about to drive again to get the correct rice. But a week later,I called them to tell them that my charge on the credit card was higher than what I signed for. they said they will search the charge. I gave them the date my name, my phone number they could not find it. They wanted the receipt, I told them I threw the receipt. As I thought I did. But, later I was able to find it. Few days later I went to to the restaurant to show them that the receipt was less amount than what appeared on my credit card statement. And I had that charged checked the same day and two days later and it was the same as the receipt. But later it was changed. All the manager said wait, she made me wait for her to research the purchase and she came back with the new receipt and she said. That, they should have given you this receipt when you were here. No apologies with the lousy service. and no apologies for not informing of the new charge. I believe this location has a huge decrease of lousy services and no appreciation for to a frequent customer that comes with family and friends always to eat in the past and celebrate birthdays and parties there in the past. I would not go to this location anymore to eat and nor I would recommend this restaurant and...

$12.50 Chang Spicy Chicken (lunch) w/ fried rice (add $2.00), $12.50 Kung Pao Chicken (no rice), order of wontons (comes with 6) for $13.50. Tax $3.69. Total cost $44.19. There is literally $4 to $5 worth of food here... so about 1000% mark up for slightly above average tasting food.
Picked up carry out to eat for dinner tonight at home. We plan to snack during tonight's game so we thought we'd save some money and get a lunch order. Since we are eating the food in a few hours we transferred the food to our food containers to put in fridge (better lids so as not to smell up the fridge). WOW - what an eye opener this exercise was! I skipped the rice as I don't care for it. I separated my wife's food (Spicy Chicken) from rice to keep it from being as soggy.
Well... looks like the game snacks for sure won't make it to kick off. I know restaurants are trying to survive but this is crazy, these folks must really be hurting for portions this small. See picture - This is the entire order ($40.50 worth of food). Service was excellent, food tasted good... but it is such an amazingly poor value I can never go back and have to give it 1 star.
No question "the game" here is to serve rice and flavor it with an equivalent portion of a McDonalds 6 piece McNugget. This is really evident when you skip the rice as I did. Chicken is a very inexpensive protein so I am not sure why the huge restriction here. I often grocery shop and even with the huge inflation the past 18 months, this is honestly about $4-$5 worth of food for $40.50
PS. Check out the size of the Crab Wanton (crab ragoon) on my spoon. They are about the size of your daily cereal spoon. $13.50 for 6 or $2.25 each. If you go foward to eat here for lunch - skip the crab ragoon and for less money go accross the street and get a couple of Double-Double cheese burgers from In-N-Out - you're...
