I will admit. I have been to Ulrich’s many, many times. Drunk, sober and everything in-between.

As you can imagine, Ulrich’s is an irish-themed Pub that serves up a great selection of food and a varied selection of alcohol. You want, you can most likely order it here. My personal favorite is their grilled chicken sandwich. It’s the juiciest grilled chicken I have ever had.

The cool thing about Ulrich’s is the grill is behind the bar, so you can literally watch the chef cook your food from 5 feet away… just be warned… if it’s a busy day, the single chef/grill does get swamped and your order can take awhile. But it’s worth the wait!

My friends and I used to come here for Burger Monday. I miss those days. Anyways, on Mondays, they had an equally juicy burger for $3 or $3.50. Not sure if they still have that deal, but it’s easily a $10 burger for dirt cheap.

If you pop in on a Friday and Saturday night, you can expect it to be crammed full. That is about the only negative I have to say about the place. It’s a very narrow/long bar, so you get a handful of people in there and it can be a pain to navigate. So if you want to eat, visit during the week night and if you want to drink only, visit any time!

I probably sound a bit biased since I have been there so many times and have lots of great memories there… but it really is truly a great...

I stopped here for the first time on a Monday night. Monday is the 3 dollar off burgers day. The burgers are really good, and the options for different burgers cover what most people will want from a classic, to a mushroom, to bacon, and a spicier jalapeno option as well. The burgers range from about $9 to $13. Hand cut fries are extra, adding about $2.50 or so to the total. They don't use cheap ingredients though. Everything was crisp and fresh. The tomato was firm and juicy. They use Romain lettuce, thick cut bacon, and long slices of pickle. The fries were really tasty, homemade and not overly salted. I wouldn't describe them as super crispy but I tend to favor this style of fry over other options. Some crispy bits, some mushy areas, great for dipping. I selected a cheese sauce to accompany the fries. My friend ordered wings. They were extremely crispy, but not very large. Overall, I'm really happy with this restaurant. I'd definitely return on a Monday night for...

My friends and I stopped by around 10:15 on a slow Thursday night and sat down at a booth, after we were seated we were quickly handed menus by an employee who we thought was a waitress and after about 20 minutes of wondering when she would return to ask us about our meals/drinks, a male employee walking by turns back and tells us after 10PM there aren't any waitresses/waiters and that we just go up to the bar to order (I assume he saw us looking around confused). Why didn't the employee that handed us the menus or anyone tell us sooner? Why isn't this posted anywhere? Needless to say, we just walked out and went elsewhere. I'm not upset there were no waiters/waitresses available after 10PM but at least make the ordering procedure after 10PM known and...

Hands down one of the best bars in Peoria, if not THE best! The owner is a great guy who cares about both his employees as well as his customers. Food is served late (until 3pm) but don't let that fool you with other "late night" food choices you may be used to. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Great burgers and the cheese fries are on point. The atmosphere has a typical Irish pub feel with some American notes. Tons of beers to choose from that change with the season. Get here early if you're wanting a good seat in a booth or at the bar, otherwise it's standing room (still worth it). Can't recommend this place any more if I tried!
