This has to be, hands down, the best Mexican Food Restaurant that I've ever visited. In my travels, I have eaten Mexican across the globe, but I must admit this was an experience that I will never forget. First, the food was, "Stupid Good". The chef, manager, Eduardo, was the best. The atmosphere was family oriented and friendly. It has a Sportsbar feel with plenty of televisions to watch. The bar is great and carries a great selection of wines, beers and spirits. Let us talk about the food. This food really can't be described with familiarity without saying that the food is beyond explanation. You really have to visit to understand the statement. The whole fired Tilapia is unbelievable. Everything about that fish was "RIGHT"! Crunchy, tender, seasoned and fried to perfection. Every Mexican Food restaurant has chips and salsa. However, not every Mexican Restaurant has "NACHOS"! They are not your standard Nachos. They put a spin on these chips. They are not "CORN" but a well kept secret that blows your mind. I will be writing forever but if you want to treat yourself, get there quick. You will not be disappointed. The staff was absolutely great. Friendly, cordial and go out their way to make sure you have a great experience. A very clean and well-kept establishment. I'm going back to eat the seafood. If it's anything like the Tilapia, Oh boy! Are there areas of improvements, I quite sure it is, I just didn't see anything but their best.

We always go here for just a quick lunch of just 2, to a large party of 20+ . Food is ok good , a lil pricey. Only bad experience I had here was recently had a large party, I had called in a reservation and I thought everything was good but when we got there they had put 2 of our party in a booth sitting alone, I had told the hostess I had called it in, and why would that be ok for 2 of us to be separated for a party. She was really rude and rolled her eyes. She spoke to another waitress who I caught rolling her eyes at me too. So I asked for the manager and he added the chairs to the table. The service(different waitress) was ok but for a party of 20 she should have had help serving and taking orders. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and it took awhile just to get a refill but we tipped the girl good because she tried her best. For large parties they should be more organized. If it wasn't for the slow service and rude waitresses I would give this place 4 stars. ( I had the taco salad which I was disappointed with if you can see very lil was inside.. Beans and rice... Very lil lettuce lol.)

Casa Jimenez is a great place to meet friends for happy hour drinks, eat breakfast after a night out, or grab a quick authentic Mexican dinner. The servers are very nice and the drinks are ice-cold! I ordered a ceviche bowl and a diet coke. My ceviche was so yummy, served super cold, and didn't have that funny fishy taste/smell that often accompanies ceviche. It was served with 5 tostadas and cost me 20 bucks. I think it's a generous portion for one as a meal or two as an appetizer. I will definitely be coming back for this item. My mom ordered a molcajete and it came out piping hot with a mix of tasty bits including grilled chicken, bacon wrapped shrimp, grilled steak, grilled nopal, grilled queso fresco, chorizo, grilled onions, and jalapenos. The meats were all so tender and flavorful and the sauce in the bottom of the molcajete was perfectly spicy. It cost me 40 dollars, but worth every penny. I highly recommend it!

I gave this place 3 stars because of the food. We had to wait until the whole party of 11 got there. Understandable and I completely agree. They did start to seat us when 7 of us had arrived. Of course, one does always reach for the chips and salsa. Chips tasted stale to start off with. "Let me dip them in the salsa." The salsa was watery. Ummmmm. I was kind of scared to order food from this place. especially after I ended up getting my drink. I ordered a horchata. Yup, you guessed it. It was watery. It tasted like it had just a splash of milk and cinnamon with no rice. I ordered the soup 7 seas. First taste.. oh, not bad.. not bad.. kind of. The ingredients were just right, but the soup itself was too salty. They did give me a good size of crab legs. I hated the corn tortillas. They smelled like store bought and full of preservatives. We had also ordered the steak with beans and rice. The steak was very good. It was those thin slices keep in mind. This steak was eaten completely. Although if you don't want it medium rare, make sure you specify that. Another plate we ordered was chicken flautas Not good. It was very dry and looked like it wasn't made that morning. The beans straight of the pot were too salty. The review on the rice is by my mother since i didn't eat the rice. She gives it a 2/3. She didn't think it was salty. The service was very good. Friendly and attentive even after I return the horchata. No fuss there and no faces. We were a large party, and still, she was able to bring out all the correct food to everyone and warm. Reception was nice...

I was the guest of my daughter and son-in-law. They frequent Casa Jimenez and are known by some of the staff. I go with them occasionally. The food was delicious as usual. The portions are large. I can eat only half of a wet verde carnitas burrito. You can order it a la carte or with beans and rice. I usually don't eat the rice at other restaurants at all, but Casa Jimenez' is very good, so are the beans and cheese. That may be why I can eat only half of the burrito. Their salsa and chips are good also. The chips taste fresh. Not greasy and stale. They are served warm with fresh salsa. The salsa is medium hot and tastes fresh, like homemade. Of course, there are hot sauces on the table or you can ask for them to make the salsa spicier if you want. The menu is extensive and includes seafood dishes. I have never seen the restaurant dirty. The floors are clean and tables are cleaned shortly after customers have left. Restrooms are a pet peeve of mine in a restaurant. I, usually, WILL NOT go back to a restaurant, no matter how good the food is, if the bathrooms are filthy, I don't mean just tissue on the floor. Casa Jimenez' bathroom has always been very clean, including the floor corners. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They greet you at the door and you are seated immediately. We usually go during the week, so I don't know about weekends, you may have to wait, but the food...
