La Bonita Restaurant — Restaurant in Perris

I have driven past this location on the freeway many times and regret not coming here sooner. There are many restaurants in the area, but I was craving pupusas so I finally decided to try this place out.

The restaurant is adorable and clean with an added touch of unique culture emulated by the beautiful photographs of Latin America placed throughout the restaurant. The staff was polite and friendly. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness made a huge significance in making my dining experience a pleasant one.

The food took a little long, but was definitely worth the wait. I have had many pupusas before and their "revuelta" definitely won my taste buds attention. It was a pleasant mixture of cheese, pork, and beans! I am definitely coming back next time...

The food was so amazing and they were so nice to a couple of white girls who had barely had el Salvadoran food before and could barely read the menu. The pupusas with asada were amazing and they recommended one that had a mix of beans and chicharron that was also good. They gave us a pickled cabbage and some red sauce to put on top. It was not spicy at all and brought out the flavor of the pupusas. And the beans were amazing. They had a flavor to them that I had never had before. Couldn't put my finger on it but they were delicious. They even brought out some sour cream for my sister to dunk her plantains in. She'd never had them with sour cream and she loved it. Would not ever eat here again. If anyone know what authentic Salvadoran food should taste like knows not to eat here. Bad service guy taking my order didn't know anything about prices or the food they have their pupusas where made toasty and with the wrong type of beans and salsa was awful. My kids got a burger and it was super salty and honestly did not taste good. I left most of the food their and paid and went somewhere else. Will never return here. I'm really don't post reviews but this was an awful experience for me and my family.
