RGM Retro Games — Local services in Perris

Super surprised a place like this exists. I went in not really expecting much in terms of retro games or anything but pretty much got blasted in the face by a whole entire selection of retro games from OG Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64. Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 1, original Xbox and more!

The cartridges and disc s are in great condition as if you could just pick them up, pop them in a console and start playing without any problems right then and there.

Everyone who worked there knew exactly what they were talking about and actually seemed to like their job. And then they we're knowledgeable about their games which is crazy Hard to find nowadays in the physical gaming store sector.

It's like going into a store and finding all of the games that you have lost/misplaced/never had returned over the last 20 - 30 something years And then them being at super reasonable prices to the point where you can possibly rebuild your whole entire catalog and collection from scratch!

DO NOT BUY GAMES HERE!!! We bought two games back to back that were supposably tested and did not work! We went back the first time to return the first game and and got a credit spent over $140 and when we got home the $80 game we bought did not work we tried to clean the game with a microfiber towel and get it to work because we live in riverside and its a far drive all the way back to perris after still not being able to get the game to work we tried calling them multiple times which the owner verified while at the store because we both work during the week and with our schedule its hard to make it out to perris but no one answers the phone we went back to get credit for the 2nd game that didnt work and because we were a day late they would not honor the exchange and only gave us half credit. the owner is so rude and tried to say we were cleaning the game with a tshirt which isnt true. We have gone here 3 weeks back to back and have referred friends to this store but will never go back again. The guy and girl who work here are super nice but the owner not so much dont even risk it and find a better store that actually test their games before selling them...

Went in to sell some games that I bought at the flee market for cheap. I made a small profit and doubled my cash. I’m not convinced I got the best deal, (I looked up the values of the game from recent eBay sold listings and from what they gave me, I came up at below 50% value) I asked what percentage their giving back in cash compared to games value but they sort of went around the question and said they used an app to justify value and what they should pay for. Wish there was some transparency there but I understand it’s a business and they have to make a profit. Regardless I made my profit they will make theirs and I can’t complain. I just like knowing the process.

They do have a huge selection of games and collectibles so if you’re looking for a specific game, odds are you may find it here. Depending on the games, some were priced just a couple dollars above what you’d find online others were priced below. To me, it was fair pricing for what they sold games for.

Business owner was chill and we chatted a bit. 5/5 star location.

Side note: they did offer more money for store credit but I wasn’t interested in...
