First time at The Meat Boutique was Magnifique!

It is easy to find The Meat Boutique over in the corner of the mall. Plenty of parking nearby.

We were greeted very warmly and welcomed by Jermaine before we even got to the door. Jermaine and Angel were great hosts - made us feel at home and they both were very helpful.

So many wonderful high quality cuts of meat! Including some terrific Tomahawks and superb Short Ribs. Great prices. Friendly service.

We found everything we were looking for. We brought our own thermal shopping bag and filled it to over flowing. It was very heavy so Angel was kind enough to carry it out to our car for us.

As soon as we got home we started filling the freezer. Kept some beef short ribs out to defrost for tomorrow.

Then we cut a beef loin in half, put half in the freezer. The other half in the crock pot: added some spices, half an onion (chopped); several carrots (cross cut); and half a bag of mini gold potatoes. After slow cooking for the day it smells so very good. We don't dare open the doors or windows due to public safety concerns: distracted drivers are dangerous. 😊 Gave it a quick taste test and unbelievable, but true - it tastes even better than it smells.

Added 2 photos of Short Ribs after 20 hour marinading - prepping to slow cook in oven then quick run under broiler. MmMmMmmmm!

Herman helped us out on Saturday, he got us set up with tomahawks and ribs for Fathers Day that were fall off the bone fantastic! Their prices are so good I felt like we robbed them. AND! We got bison burgers, a big filet roast and an extra rack of ribs sent home with us TO TRY. They are a great privately owned meat shop and we will be doing our meat purchases through them.. Ribs were rubbed with s&p, slow cooked in the oven then glazed and charred on the grill.. tomahawks got a nice sear on the grill and indirect heat to finish, next time we are going to try reverse sear to see...

The Goods: If meat had a boutique and came in the best packaging this place would be what its supposed to look like. I popped in here just to see if I could get some good prices on a meat plan. But I walked into this place that had a nice arrangement of good meats. I bought a few things and did business with what looks like a small family business. If it wasn't so far from home I would frequent this place regular.

The Ugly: While there's still some affordable pieces, there are no Meat Package plans! It's affordable for some things but a good majority of...
